The chess is fine, I like this version better than the new one but: It is constantly prompting me to install the new one, that eventually has gotten annoying and I understand the necessity for advertisement in a free app but these ads are purposefully deceptive, putting an “x” in a spot where if you touch it, it clicks through the ad and NOT putting an x in the spot you ACTUALLY have to touch to close the ad. Sneaky.
Ads have gotten annoying and aggressive at times.

I gave it a 3&4 I do like the game and I understand that adds need to be there but I think it’s unreasonable for an add to not allow the option to clear it if the user is not interested in or offended by the product. They are getting longer and are forcing me to watch adds that don’t care about.

I love this app but I am unable to do things that other people can do. For example, I CANNOT see pictures of the opponents but they can see my pic!! It’s sort of frustrating!! Secondly, I can request a game with someone and nine times out of ten...I am the person playing second!!! Is it because of my record?? Lastly, I am unable to nudge someone to make a move and have no idea on where to go to do that!! Please advise!

The app is great. It is easy to follow the game and moves compared to the newer version. The newer version did not take my games status with it unless I did something wrong. The pieces are large and feel like an actual board at times.
