Cannot update app since you removed update

Update: Had purchased this app over 5 years ago and liked it since it was very user friendly. However, they updated their app and I lost all my data when the app automatically signed me out and when I signed back in all my data was lost. My wife has the app on her phone and when I went to check her phone that we had the data synced, low and behold the app had down the same thing. I feel sooo sick to my stomach and no support from the developer and I am out of luck and $2.99. Stay away and save your money!! I am stuck with an app that I paid for and now stuck with an update that is no longer available. Please publish your update or remove the update from the App Store. 1 very unhappy customer

I love having it conveniently on my iPhone, always with me. I love how it calculates my balance for me, without error! And I love how it remembers my recurring monthly payments and recurring deposits. (I saw where another reviewer said the recurring deposits don't work automatically like the expenses, but in fact it does! There's nothing dysfunctional about this app. I do wish, however, that it would be easier to click any item cleared or uncleared without having to open and edit each one. Makes balancing a much slower process, esp when I have so many! I also love how you can easily send a copy of the whole file to yourself or to your spouse or anyone else. I send a copy to my desktop to open in excel where I can easily resort by payee or by date or by category so that I can print year end reports for taxes. Saves me oodles of time, and a safe and quick way to backup data. Thank you Checkbook App makers!!! However I do wish the exports included the check#s, PLEASE!!!

I've used this app for a long time and never had issues until today, I wake up to be signed out and all my data is gone and I don't see any way to retrieve it even though it should be saved to the checkbook cloud. I've very upset abd highly disappointed with this app!
Great app, but people complain to much

I’ve been using the free app for a while and honestly it works as advertised. People complain to much about this and that. Those that complain, If ya can do any better then do your own app. Or use a spreadsheet.. Anyways the only flaw i can say is i wish it could be screen optimized for the iPad Pro 12inch. It still works great as is, but it would just make this overall my favorite money management app.. yes even better then Mint in my option.
Update Not Syncing Between Devices

I still can’t believe this app does not have iCloud sync. After it sunk and I went into the app it deleted all of my information. Which is detrimental when you ate keeping track of funds and when you last paid them, etc. I’m going to be looking for another app. I will pay double the price I paid for this one so long as it works and syncs with iCloud.

Update: Unfortunately iCloud backups only go back to the most recent backup, which already contains a broken version of this app. Still no word back from the developer. This app worked for many years. I hoped for iCloud syncing, but instead we got a different kind of syncing, but so what, it’s working right? Wrong. Yesterday after logging into my account, which I thought I was already logged into, I found all my data erased. I’ve been using this app for about 5 years (or more) and now all my data is gone. It’s extremely disappointing that this could happen and I’ve emailed the developers in hopes they have a solution. I’m going to try and get the data from one of my old iCloud backups. I write this review as a warning to anyone who is using this app or thinking of buying it. It’s a good app, it does what you need it to do, but this is an unacceptable “bug”.
