Very poor syncing system

I spent hours working on a script online. Came back to my iPad to work on it (in the free version) and celtx synced my script to where it was 5 days ago. Lost all my progress.

A guy writing a game review
Celtx is a great app to add to your pre production repertoire. I recommend Celtx because I can write on my phone and it is synced so I can login into Celtx and pick up where I left off on any other device. Overall Celtx is just a great script writing app. And Celtx is free.
Not happy- free online is much better.

They didn't include the side toolbar in the downloadable version so if you accidentally create a note you can't delete it. You just have to look at it forever. Also when working offline it constantly tries to connect to the internet and constantly prompts you to tell it that it's ok to work offline, which is really annoying when you're in the middle of typing in offline mode and this prompt pops up every 30 seconds. Overall very disappointed in the $20 I spent on this app, I would have been more productive in MS word until they fix these bugs.

Update: How in the world you expect me to pay your subscription if your iOS and Mac OS apps are so unreliable. This app crashes, corrupts files, gets really slow often and it works like it was released with the original iPad. I don't understand how these Celtx people don't revamp this app after so many bad reviews. While the browser app is really good and has a fully-featured, user-friendly interface, this app feels useless. That's without counting all the bugs.

Ok I have full wifi and the cloud won't work on me. It has done this to me before. Other than that it's a great app

Waiting for a new update to use it again though. It crashes a lot and i think it effects my phone. But will happily type on there again with an updated version!

Seriously so thrilled there is an app for celtx. The best screen writing software money doesn't have to buy. Love it.
Much ado about nothing

At first I was pretty happy. Being able to switch from devices and keep working was great. But then I started noticing that often my work would not save. I just lost 5 pages of work that seemed to save, but actually didn’t. If you can’t trust a software to save your work, what’s the point?
Pretty good, but needs iPad Pro 12.9 update

I love celtx on my laptop, but I can’t stand using it on my 12.9 iPad due to poor image quality as a result of up scaling. You’ve had since 2015... PLEASE UPDATE
