I really love this app and have been using it for years, the only major problem I have with it is that it crashes every once in a while and can’t figure out how to get it to stop. It usually goes away after a while.

Constantly fails to sync with cloud. “Unsupported URL.” It’s absurd that there is no way to extract a PDF of your writing from the app when the cloud syncing is not working. Not a serious product. Avoid it.

Developers can fix this

The screen is jumpy so when you click it will close out. I’m using an iPhone. I think if the developers worked on fixing that bug this could be a 5 star app well worth the $

Good design with major bug issues

I use Celtx on my computer quite a lot, and I recently started using it on my phone after downloading it a while ago, and the app is constantly crashing as soon as I start to write something in a script. It’s really unbearable. The design is good, and without it crashing, it’s an overall good experience. But please resolve these bug issues!

App keeps closing

Both the iPad and iPhone apps keep closing when I try to look at the comments from my co-writer. Also I cannot access anything related to the script on the apps (breakdowns, storyboards, etc) looks like the last time these apps were updated were 3 years ago. I pay for this service and I would expect my money to at least partway work on updating these apps for use. I could use my notebook app for just writing things down, please fix this app.

Nice App But Crashes 80% of time on iPad Pro

I want to first say I absolutely love this app and it fits me needs well. It’s simple, intuitive, and overall very solid for a free app. My problem however, is that it crashes very easily. I have done everything possible on my end to prevent it, but it does not seem to work when I type or edit written scripts using my wireless magic keyboard. It’s the weirdest thing and it’s very annoying. Hopefully this is something the developers can solve.

Good but force closes

I often have to close out of the app while on mobile and when I return I have to scroll through for my place. When I do and I start to write, the app will sometimes force close. This happens at least twice before I can stay on the app.

Attempting to use

First time attempting to use the app for writing due to some restrictions that pulled me away from my computer. So far the first 2 attempts the app closed on me, the third attempt locked up with a cloud notification. While attempting my fourth attempt, I realized that the app is almost unusable from the stand point of I can’t access the done , cancel, or really any other button at the top due to it being so close to the top of my screen that my phone thinks I am trying to grab the notifications window or the settings menu on the iPhone.

Buttons can’t be pressed

I’m having a problem where if I open a note on iPhone 10, the “close” and “done” buttons are overlaying the date and time and control center buttons. The same issue happens on the home page with the “+” button, and in various other places.

I’m trying to write and in the middle of a sentence the app will close on a regular basis terrible driving me crazy fixing it will make me happy
