Dice randomization seems off

Game is good, but dice rolling doesn’t seem random.

Great app and great game. Really enjoy playing this. New app update is confusing with the animation speed setting. I can’t imagine playing this regularly on any speed other than turbo unless you were just starting to learn it. The upward swipe motion of the other speeds is intolerable to me, but everything is great on turbo speed.

Game is rigged in favor of AI. Would not recommend unless you want to feel frustrated over and over again. For example, had 3 cities on high probability resources plus the longest road. The robot picked up 4 development cards, all of which were victory points for the win. Also noticed that if you share a resource with the AI that dice combo is more likely to show up in any given game, even if it’s a low probability combination. Alternately, if you’re on a high probability dice combo and none of the robots are, the likelihood decreases significantly whereas low probabilities will show up (2, 3, 11) over and over again.

Timer

They need to have a timer on people's turns, even if that timer is a whole 10 minutes. If someone disappears during the game without actually exiting the game, the whole game just freezes with no winner and you just wasted 45 minutes of your time.

The dice rolls are absolutely fake. If you aren’t on a six, expect six to be rolled 20 times in one game. Same thing with any number you do not have. I’ll be on 4,5,6,8,9 and 3’s and 10’s will be rolled constantly. Absolutely garbage. Make the dice fair and this game is genius.

Love Catan but this app is disappointing

The entire premise of this type of game is to be able to play other players online. I have tried three different times now over a two year period to play this game but the developers have put almost zero real thought into what should have been the core of the online experience The servers are horrible. You can rarely make it through a whole game without somebody being kicked out or the game crashing entirely. When someone loses connection the entire game freezes and makes everyone wait for a few minutes. The ai players then come in and make horrible trades and ruin the game for all the human players There is no rating system, no good statistics about your record, no chat Overall while I’m a great fan of catan this game is not worth the money I shelled out to play. I okay risk and splendor online and the servers actually work and each person has about 60 seconds to take their turn or move on. This game takes forever to play I have now deleted it tonight for the third time. I keep coming back (since I paid 10 dollars) every few months and each time I am disappointed. I wish it were otherwise

Predictable

This game cheats beyond belief (even with the options the game provides to make it less predictable). The algorithm the CPU adheres to attempts to make the matches as close as possible (preventing any player from running away with the game). Not realistic, and EXTREMELY annoying! Please make it more realistic?

Update your app. If you use the classic map, the app will automatically crash once your create a custom game. The only way to play is to use a different map.

Fun but the AI gets ridiculous

Playing on “hard” difficulty means once you start winning AI will roll 7’s and play knight cards non stop and will only rob from you most of the time. Otherwise the app runs generally well, playing online can be a bit buggy at times.
