Great gameplay but …

Ugh please get rid of this fake currency stuff. I don’t want to play a gambling emulator that’s meant to trick my brain into having fun. I want a great game… that’s it.
Total troll game

This game is a total troll game. Enemies are overly hard. Endless stunlocking. Controls are laggy and unresponsive. Insanely inaccurate movements. Straight from the rip. Game expects you to know how to move , run, dodge and everything, when you try to attack but enemies attack same time but you can’t end attack motion to dodge because game is laggy and unresponsive for touch controls and just take an insanely 30% hp damage from a regular mobs. Bosses are HP sponges with endless attacks so you can’t even do much damage. Game throws endless tasks without you even slowly learning the game. Game just throws you in expecting you to be a master player without easing you into it and slowly learning. This game is only for end game players or dark souls elitists. A sadistic Beat them up where all the edge is given to the AI and very punishing game. This is not an “arcade” game and has an insane difficult spike in the first few levels….. if you like that style game where it’s more of torture than a “game” then this is for you. If not, game needs refining
That Which Writhes 2-1

Great game, my go to for those daily sit down moments. Not much online support though. I cannot find all treasure chests on That Which Writhes 2-1, I’ve cleared it many times with every character methodically checking every crevice and ledge. I’m starting to wonder if it’s a glitch.

I have a hard time switching characters. Some times the load screen will just turn black and I have the latest iPad Pro. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it was still the same. What a shame.

From playing Simon’s Quest when I was 6 in the early 90s I’ve been a life long supporter of the Castlevania series, and this game exceeded what i thought a mobile game could be! Cheers!
Works great on TV

I found the game after I did Apple One, and was playing on my mac, it freezes all the time on the M1 Pro Macbook, but works great on my Apple TV. Not sure if it's something with the chip set. Overall great game, just wanna be able to play on the Mac without having to force quit it every 10 minutes

It’s obvious this was originally a Pay to Win game. There’s so many different types of currencies in this game, and for all of them, there’s astronomically-priced items that you could not attain through normal play time. Why weren’t these items reduced in price? I don’t know. It’s also frustrating how hard it is to level-up anything. It requires hours of grinding and replaying the same few levels because the idea was to get people to pay to advance. Apple should have done a better job working with Konami to remove and refine anything that made this game feel like a bait-and-switch is going to happen, because the whole game isn’t available…

Other than the occasional missed timing on jumps with my game pad, I really don’t see anything to complain about. It’s almost like no one has ever played a rpg before. Grinding is what you do in many of these games. I have sunk 1000 hours into Castlevania Hd with friends. There are still rare equipment I have not collected and skills I haven’t maxed. This is one of the best games I’ve played on mobile and I have recently found myself choosing to play this over my console. I downloaded this game a week ago and my gear score is 36k with my strongest character and 26k with my lowest. For perspective the final boss suggests having 27k to beat. Haven’t hit this wall people are talking about yet. If you enjoy Castlevania or are a fan of the genre of games I would suggest giving this a try

This is first time I have taken the time to play and complete the game. I’m stuck now waiting for an update for new grimoires. 5* was something I thinking of rating but the update needed.
