Today’s weather (accurate, hour by hour, great for dog walking) greeted me with “The Falcon Heavy is the first rocket powerful enough to carry your mother out of earth orbit.” Which I found so funny that I wrote a 5-star review for the app at 6 in the morning. My actual favorite app.

When switching between Dark Sky and Wunderground it many times does not update the data. Even force closing the app and opening it up again it will still be showing the Dark Sky data. You have to switch back to Dark Sky then back again to Wunderground in order to get their data to display. This is extremely frustrating. Also the timing of the forecast is off. For example on Wundergrounds website it will say 58% percip at 2pm, in carrot it says that for 1pm. Everything is one hour early. Almost all of the data is wrong. Will also say it’s raining when it’s 11 degrees and snowing and the Dark Sky app and website do NOT say it’s raining, so it’s clearly an issue with Carrot... just really bad overall.
Disappointed with accuracy.

Normally I don't leave reviews but recently I counted on this app to provide me with an accurate forcast for my commute to work next day. The 12 hour forcast informed me 23% chance of snow for the AM and none for the PM. WELL.. Fast forward to next morning I'm surprised that it's a blizzard outside. And then it proceeded to tell me 100% snow for this hour only and then back to 20%ish snow the next. It was a frigging blizzard from morning til evening...so what gives?! So disappointed with this paid app, it's been a hit or miss in terms of accurately reporting weather. I'm better off just checking the weather channel.
