This search tool has a HORRID interface... clunky, very, very limited filtering, slow... totally ridiculous.

This app is trash I can’t save anything and it takes so long to load and freezes every time I use it. Fix your app

For months now the only thing the app will do is display a message stating “we’re having trouble reaching the server”. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Haven’t found anything that works.

1 star for not being able to search through your broader region. Very frustrating

I’ve deleted and redownloaded this app many times but no matter what I keep receiving “We’re having trouble reaching the server” message.

Who decided that the price range should be a slider that starts out at 0 to 1,000,000? Who’s buying a car that’s $500,000 on CarGuru? Either make the user interface better or keep the one star review

I get messages from people with all contact info stripped out and no way to connect. It won’t let them send me email address or phone numbers. They send offers and I respond but many don’t know they need an account to exchange messages. So far it’s been a waste of time and very painful to sell my car or interact with interested potential buyers. Needs a serious redesign that finds the balance between easy interactions and still knowing if the car sold by this site so you can get your money. I would not recommend it.

I have been using Cargurus to look for used cars to purchase. The app is great for this and it can help narrow down cars for you to Look at and if you save a car/listing. As of recently I have come to realize that there are some bugs around. One of which would be with the search, currently although I am putting in certain criteria. The results from the search do no match them completely. Even if the car and years are correct. The distance in which I am willing to travel is not being taken into account, giving me listings from hundreds and thousands of miles away. These options do offer delivery prices, but I do not wish to view these. If these were on purpose, I believe there should be an option to not have those apply. The second bug that I had found is to do with my saved listings. I have looked at cars and saved quite a few. I know that Cargurus will email you when a car you had interest in had been sold or no longer available. Interestingly enough though, despite the amount of cars that I had saved, only 4 show up when I go to saved listings. The number in the menu also displays a higher number than 4, but still only 4 show. Lastly, I am unsure if it is a bug, but I do believe that Cargurus, do send you an email for saved cars that have been sold or made unavailable. If this is not done for every car, I understand, but the numbers for saved listings is bugged. If this is currently Not a feature, I think it should be added, it would be a fantastic feature! So that you can know what exactly happened to a car youre interested in. At the end of the day, it is a good app, but these small bugs can be fixed.
