Why no work

Well I have been playing for about 2 years I don’t mind the changes but whenever I want to go to the shop or practice mode the game freezes. I don’t know why but I expect a lot of this game but...

Such a Fun Game

I played this game a lot a couple years ago in high school, and I had nostalgia about it a few months ago and got back into it. This game is not p2w at all... yes you can buy card packs with money, but you can get card packs through the game for free. Through daily quests etc. also you get a free 2-card card pack every 4 hours (these specific packs cap at 2 so you need to open them every 4-8 hours to get the most out of them). You can craft any unwanted cards, and any extra cards you have, into raw material, and then use these to craft any card you could want - even legendaries!

Super glitchy game

If you do not pay, it will strangely have glitches that work against you!

Promotes Zerg Rushing and Lag Galore

What once started as a balanced, unique card strategy game has devolved into mediocrity. I’m going to objectively tell you why this game is a downgrade from the Cards and Castles you played a year ago. The game has turned into a straight up zerg rush now that castle health has dropped from 20 to 12. The game promotes only one type of deck, rush damage dealers with high movement and deal burst damage immediately. Sad to see a game like this become dumbed down to the worst strategy in starcraft ii, the zerg rush. Another added flaw to the new Cards and Castle is decks are now 50 cards, making the game much more random and narrowing down the variations of decks you can have. For example, with a dragon deck, 40 cards would allow you to vary up your styles quite a bit, but now that there’s 50 cards, you are basically forced to use every dragon card the game has to offer. While other card games like Magic the Gathering allow 4 of the same card in 50-60 card decks, CC only allows 3. Dragon decks have been completely butchered btw since most dragons are expensive, some of the best cheap dragons have been nerfed into uselessness and their cost has been increased by up to 3 and being that this game is now catered to zerg rushing, your late game dragons will never be played. This game has some of the worst connection issues i have ever seen a game. Your internet may be strong but Bugs and Glitches, ahem i mean Cards and Castles, is not. It's frustrating to make a move only to realize that CC never actually made that move. You will see before your eyes your time run out as you see that you never made a move at all. It's lost many games for serious gamers and this is why CC will never become anything beyond casual. I will say that game is not a pay to win. I paid some money but i could have easily done just as well by collecting free packets of cards every 3 hours which was quite fun. The worst part of the game is how it doesnt tell you when youre lagging or disconnected until you hit the end turn button at which point you find out if your actions during turn actually happened or not. Sometimes it ends your turn and nothing happens because the timer ran out. It has been the lead reason why I have lost matches and I have seen the same happen to others ive played The final nail on the coffin is that this game offers a large amount of scripted lines you can say to the other player, some are completely pointless and don’t make any sense. The ‘silly’ option literally says the same joke every time, and it’s not even a joke. Yet it misses crucial lines like ‘good game’.
