I have not purchased anything and will not from this app after reading other reviews. My complaint is that they advertise deals on popular stores and restaurants and keep them up all the time even though they are always “out of stock.” Ugh

Purchased a gift card and tried to use it and the card did not work. Contacted customer support and they don't answer. I've seen plenty of other reviews about this site that have very similar stories. I can't believe this is allowed in the app store. This is nothing but a complete scam. Please stay very far away from this site if you don't want to get ripped off. Use retailmenot or Raise.

This company says that Target electronics department will allow you to sell gift cards for cash. FAKE NEWS! Target has no idea about this and after speaking with two store managers they said that this has been going on for months and they are very sorry to hear that I was lied to.

I have been using Cardpool for close to a year now, mainly to sell unwanted gift cards that I know I will most likely never use. I’ve sold many, mainly at one of the few physical locations near our home & in that way (& when the transaction goes smoothly) it has been great. Yes, of course you are not getting the same dollar amount as is on whatever gift card you are selling but if you do not want to accept the amount it offers you, you can always list it for whatever dollar amount you want but especially if you do not take much of a percentage off then you may be waiting a while for it to sell. My reason(s) for giving 3 stars and not more are because for one, I have downloaded & tried to use the app (supposed to make it more convenient/easy) twice now and each time, as someone else mentioned in another review, It asks me to verify my phone number & I try to follow the steps to do so and it just takes me in one giant circle over and over. Without being able to verify that I am not able to sell anything through the app at all and just end up deleting it altogether. Anyways, if you use the online site or go to a physical location it can be a very useful option to have for all those unwanted gift cards that just sit in your wallet, and if the app situation would be fixed I wouldn’t have a complaint at all!

WARNING!!! Do not use this app or website. I bought two 25 dollar gift cards only to find out they were no good. Contacted Cardpool over a month ago by email like the website said to do and have NOT heard from them yet.

I had a gift card in my account. I tried to use it in the restaurant, but my bill was not paid and the balance of the gift card became zero, but the bill was about the half of the remaining balance. It was embarrassing situation and had to pay with my credit card. Beware!
