WAS amazing until 11 Pro Max

UPDATE - 01/03/2020 - still practically unusable with the iPhone 11 Pro Max. MAYBE 1 out of 20 readings will come close to what it was like before the upgrade and, over 3 months later, still nothing from the developer. For those of us that paid to unlock the full app,... this is probably the best example of an appropriate refund. What gives? UPDATE - 10/10/2019 - so, after reaching out to the developer, I was informed that the app functions the same across all devices and it’s clearly that I either can’t hold still and/or to clean my filthy camera that can’t get a proper reading. They must’ve done all the research already! It’s clearly all of us with the same problem on the same iPhone 11 Pro/Pro Max. Thanks for clarifying that and causing that drop to 1 star. I look forward to an eventual update that makes it useful again. I’ll leave my original review below as is. - I have tried every possible configuration to get it to work like it did with my XS Max but, after hours of trying,... absolutely no luck. I’m hoping there’ll be an update or something in the near future because I honestly do use this app on a daily basis. Otherwise, it’s pretty solid.

1/9/2020: Although this app worked well for my iPhone 6 and 8 plus, it does not wok for 11 pro. It may be able to capture a reading once in ten or twelve trys. No matter how I hold the phone or which camera lens or lenses I cover all I get is a message that says poor signal quality. I reported this problem to the developer two months ago and their reply was that they would look into the matter. No further response so far.

Readings are spot on. Downloaded app to monitor hr due to anxiety. Compared readings to hospitals when I was all hooked up and it was spot on. Doctor was amazed and surprised all in one.

Once you download the app they basically try and enroll you in a subscription so it’s NOT FREE! I never write reviews but I’m sick of things being advertised for free and app developers trying to SNEAK into your wallet and I’m sure many of you are as well. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS! THERE ARE OTHER OPTIONS AVAILABLE!

When I was using this app, I put my finger on my arm to check my real pulse and my other finger on the camera to see the pulse this app detects. After all, the beats were on point and the beats on my hand were similar to the ones on the app.
