Frustrating online experience

This game is exceptionally well designed and crosses over very well from the table game. Yet, the ability of players online to foresee available blocks with the "X" feature automatically enabled for online play is so dissimilar to how real people play this game that I've begun the habit of simply leaving online games when a player starts blocking moves one or two turns in. It's exasperating to lose all of your meeples just three or four turns into a game when I've never seen a human player do that in the hours & hours of "real game play" I've had. I'd really prefer to have this feature turned off for online play - or to have the option to play opponents who also want to play this way. Finally, wait times are unreal. In a recent example, the estimate was 2 minutes, 55 seconds. I waited 15 minutes before giving up. I'd really love to see improvements in the online matching process, including the ability to do something else on my phone while I wait. It's so annoying to stare longingly at my phone while I wait for the game to start.

This is one of my favorite board game. I absolutely love it!!! You guys made and excellent job Please, include more expansions of this game. Like the tower, the count, king & robber, mage & witch, the count of carcassone, the cult. There are so many exciting expansions to include. The only thing is the waiting time, but with that aside, this is amazing!

I know of very few board-to-app conversions as successful as this one. I love Carcassonne but sometimes a game just takes too long or no one else is interested in playing. This app allows me to play any of the expansions at my own pace and helps me better understand strategy and scoring, so that I'm much more prepared to play with my family. A superior game, very well realized in portable, computerized format.

This has always been a great game. Be sure to hold your iPad horizontally or you won’t be able to read a lot of valuable stuff. I made that mistake. You can’t go wrong with this game. Be sure to buy the add-ons. It intensifies the pleasure.

Excellent transition from table top to app. I just wish there were more expansions! I have all of them and hope that some day, another will be available.

Almost impossible to play on my iPhone 8. Works fine on my 2yr old iPad, but on my iPhone it just keeps freezing up, not registering any touch or just moving the screen around without letting me place my tile.
Immersive, challenging and relaxing.

Best board game on iOS. Very immersive atmosphere and challenging while maintaining a relaxing vibe. Some sharky playing when you begin to advance past a certain point but it’s a strategy game so now you get learn to manage an aggressive strategy. On the same note the ability to see what tiles are left is useful when plotting defenses. I like that you can buy as many of the expansions as you want and I have quite a few of them but find myself gravitating to my favorites. I really appreciate the quality of craftsmanship that went into the design and easily feel I have gotten the most value out of this game over all other apps I’ve purchased.
AI makes it impossible to play

The more experience you earn the more the odds are stacked against you in this game... Even on "easy" the odds are in favor of the computer... My kids cannot play this game unless I uninstall then reinstall it, to get rid of my "experience"... Why have strength of computer if no matter what the game stacks the odds... Terrible
