Unclesmithers
I get the occasional blocking of another player in Carcassonne but in the current version the app indicates when a space is blocked. All I see are players blocking the whole match and it isn't like traditional Carcassonne at all. If the developers were to get rid of that feature I would happily return and re-rate.

Objective game judger
I have no idea how the system gives out the pieces, but is that really random? I don't think so! I have to say that when you get to leaderboard, the games becomes extremely unfair! I kept losing those 1700s and even 1600s later! THIS CAN'T BE RANDOM. CAN YOU MAKE IT FAIR!!!

A terrible example of a game where the difficulty of the player you are up against is determined by skewing what should be a random distribution of tiles. Unplayable.

Carcassonne is one of our favorite games. The simple logic and rules make it accessible and challenging for all skill levels. The expansions that have been completed have been great, and with their reasonable pricing, we have bought every one when it becomes available. Engaging different sets of expansions allows for very different gameplay and strategy. The difficulty of drawing the card you want seems to be no less random than when playing life with real cards. My only suggestion would be to add a few more AI players of limited skill. Solo play can be frustrating when playing with more than one aggressively tuned AI player. Beautiful game. I have gifted it to several friends so that we can play together.
Block, poor sportsmanship

While this is a decently designed game, some of the design features are used to block other players moves. It leaves a easy option for a very poor sportsmanship that is used in almost every match. If that feature is disabled then I say solid 4 star. I would recommend they add and done button for when you want to end turn without placing an meepile

It was awful I couldn't join a server it kept saying I needed wifi or Bluetooth and I had it on and it still said that please fix this creator

You can't compete for properties? What is the point? No blocking folks? Turns an intelligent game into a game of chance. Can't believe I paid $10 for a game that has lost the main crux of the board game.

The original board game is one of my favorite games to play with my son. Now that he lives in another state we play the iOS game and with the anniversary edition expansion and it is just like the original board game. We're addicted!
