App update Feb2021

sev2027

I’ve been using the app for 2 years and really liked it UNTIL NOW. There’s been an update and the app got re-designed. I absolutely HATE the new design. It all blends together, it’s harder to find what you’re looking for, you can’t really tell how far you are from getting to your goals. Very unfriendly. I want the old design back :(

Fasting calculator is off

AC Slaya

I understand there’s a lot of calculating involved. It the fasting “goal” calculator is off completely. I love the new “set meal time” but that is completely skewed by the inaccurate fasting by hours calculator. Please fix. Thanks.

Not so great since the "upgrade"

I'd been using this app for about a month (+/-) before the new version was unveiled and I'd found it pretty easy to use across my devices (both Apple and Android as well as on the web). Since the new version came out I've found it to be frustratingly glitchy. I can't trust my imported recipes any longer (nutrition information is way off), I can't edit my recipes successfully, and especially on my iPad, the app loads so slowly that I always get a "you are offline" message when I am not. I was a Weight Watchers member for years so I'm used to using a reliable app whose data I can trust, but I switched so I could start tracking macros. Although my initial experience with the old version of this one seemed pretty reliable, that's no longer the case. Very disappointing.

Inconsistent

Mrs.Ellington

I’ve used this app for over a year now however, it’s become real inconsistent on calculating net carbs. It’s deceiving to know exactly what’s keto friendly as far as knowing how much you can have of something. It won’t let me upload photo to give you an example. I also tried emailing customer support and it was undeliverable

Updated version is not as good or intuitive as the last.

We’ve been keto for 3/4 year. Been tracking the last few months to get back to deep ketosis for medical reasons. I like to know my macro breakdowns per meal (two meals a day) and before I could flip my phone sideways to see how much protein and fat at each meal and which foods had how much (learning so I don’t have to track forever.) with the new and improved app, I can’t do this from my phone and but have to use the computer which is inconvenient. It only shows calories and carbs. It’s also harder to do the recipes. It’s annoying to have to save a recipe you are trying to make, and then go back and find it to see how the macros pan out, then go back and change it and continue the process until it is how you want it. (Some recipes are too low or high in fat or carbs and a few substitutes need to be made.) A continuous tally available while making the recipe would be nice. It works ok for keeping track but definitely has weak spots for anyone who wants to use it on a continuous basis. I wonder if the developers tried using it for a day in their own lives before launching? ?

Needs more support

GGGGGGGGGGGG-UNIT

I love the meal plans and I love the shopping list. However I am getting nothing on the help and support page. It is completely blank. When I try to enable certain things like meal tracker, it doesn’t allow. I don’t like that there is no way to receive any help.

So Easy!!

Birdy5.1

This app makes it so easy to stick to the keto diet! It really works! Birdy5.1

Dreadful new version

JKM1305

Carb Manager *used to be* the best carb tracking app. *Used to be*. Wombat Apps LLC has completely ruined Carb Manager with the release of version 7.0. The majority of users hate it, and have detailed how horrendous it is, and the response has been arrogance from CM and Wombat about “change being difficult.” No. The newest version is HORRIBLE.

New version, not so much.

logging_laura

The new version seems to be having some bugginess. Spinning circle and time outs. Also not easy to bring up my frequent food.

Decent app for tracking but don’t trust every element

UmpMO

Do your due diligence. If you scan a food or import a recipe, the values will not match the manufacturer or website data for contents of the food. The values can be “reported” as wrong and corrected according to the documented stats but this is a pain. As a premium member I expect better. I like the interface and usability but it’s a good deal of work if you don’t find what you need in the standard app food database. Just be vigilant and report/correct what you find and this is a good tracker. Remember it’s not so much about being exacting (unless doctor ordered), it’s about awareness and accountability! LCHF/Keto on y’all.
