Nice App

I originally gave a poor review, but after restarting my iPad, it works as advertised now. Decent app for learning songs, enjoying it now.

Having purchased Capo before they decided to switch to a subscription-based model, I’m grandfathered into owning the app. That being said I can’t speak for the trial experience, but I do know subscription models are becoming a norm for many developers. I can’t vouch for whether it’s always the best decision, however a subscription model for apps like Bear and Capo doesn’t seem entirely inappropriate. The app’s kind of an incredible tool, and I simply wanted to leave this review to encourage people to let the developers work out what are obviously temporary kinks versus things that need public feedback in hopes of action. If you have a particular problem, I’d encouraged you to try their support before you hurt their App Store ratings to get some clarification and maybe some quick assistance. These guys clearly care.

Exactly what I was looking for

Perfect for layering new tracks (for a musical newbie) in Logic Pro X. Works perfectly.

App Opens but “+” does nothing, no songs will load.

If i could get started somewhere, maybe this app would be useful. But, the most basic function of locating song files seems to be non functional. I have purchased and saved songs locally on my device, that don't appear anywhere. I’ve placed songs in the dropbox folder, local folders, and nothing appears. It’s pretty much DOA.

A transcribers Godsend!

If you want the easiest way( besides being born with perfect pitch) to learn songs for pleasure, sharing, performing or recording, Capo is the best app out there. The versatility of the app is what really sets it apart, being able to easily change tempo, keys, import songs from anywhere you have them stored, is unmatched. The guitar chord recognition feature is still a work in progress, but I haven’t found ANY program, even those costing a lot more, that has figured that out. But for what you spend on Capo, if you are serious about learning and creating music, you can’t go wrong.
