Needs an Update

This app works in the sense that it prints your pictures but that is about all it does. It doesn’t let you zoom/rotate accurately. You can’t put on filters, stickers, frames mainly because you can’t see what you are clicking on. The icons will never load. (Takes so much time to click on each one and see what they are) I honestly love this printer and I think the app is a good concept, but sadly it just doesn’t deliver.

Good.

I think this app is good. The only thing I don’t like is not really knowing if my picture is getting cut off when I put it to print. In the app it looks like it’s not and then when it prints some of it does get cut off. It would also be cool if more fonts were added.

Beyond Frustrating

For a printer that sells at $100+ the app is terrible. The most difficult thing about this app is having no idea how your pictures are going to turn out. They are either too zoomed in it crops parts of the photo, or too small that it leaves a huge white background. The app does not resize your picture by the 2”3” photo film. This causes you to waste film trying to guess what the correct size will be. It shows that this app was not well thought out, and cannon just wanted to make a quick buck. It becomes seriously time consuming if you add the deco. I continuously resize each deco piece before printing. Then find the picture being centered wrong. Even if it looks centered before the print out, it will not show until it’s actually physically printed. The app would be so much better if it adjusted the picture to the correct size. The only semi positive thing about this print is the price and quantity of film. As of now $9.99 gets you 20 film. $24.99 gets you 50 film. So it is sold at 50¢ each photo. It’s better than the instax Fuji film that can cost up to $1.29 at cheapest for a cartage of 10 film. Then again, if you’re printing the same photo more than once it may not even be a semi positive for this printer. If you’re prepared to waste a lot of film and waste a lot of time, this is the printer for you.

Is it possible to get a preview ?

Suej27

I hate that I have to basically add the stickers one by one in order to see what they are, which can be time consuming. At this point I use a different app for that, which basically defeats the purpose of this one. Also, I would love to be able to rotate pictures in the collage screen.

Edges trimmed

OhLookOreos!

The app and printer don’t really have the same aspect ratio. I’ve noticed that the printer itself likes to cut off some of the edges to my photos, so it’s not a true 1:1 ratio. I have to say I’m slightly disappointed that this is the case. I really was hoping to get a really good quality out of the Ivy app.

Please fix the app!!

I love my printer so much but I haven’t been able to use it in about a month because the app isn’t working ever. It won’t print, it won’t preview stickers, frames, filters, etc. I was in love with this when I first got it, it worked like a dream! Not sure what happened but all I want to do is use my printer and I can’t. UPDATE PLEASE! Kind of pointless to own the printer if I can’t even use it and of course it’s out of return policy period.

Fix your app

Gamergal22603

I paid over 100$ for this printer and the app it requires is constantly crashing. Fix it.

About time

TikiTesa

It’s about time you fixed the app and got the “minor bugs” fixed!!! I now love it and so much easier to use thank you!!

Not able to see stickers

MohrMaaan

The first day I bought the canon ivy and edited my pictures it worked perfectly, but after the first day, any time I try to add stickers to any of my pictures it just won’t let me see them to choose. I even deleted the app and downloaded it again and it still doesn’t work.
