Problem of logging on resolved in less than 24 hrs

I changed my review to 4 stars after being frustrated not able to log on! Site really needs to be a little clearer where to go for help when this happens. I was able to change my password but not retrieve my log on without contacting support. I feel much better about knowing there was someone to take care of this.

This app is great. We are able to socially connect with both friends and others. It certainly is helping all registered get thru this shut down for the last 6 months. Alan, who is the go to person for any issue is wonderful. He is patient and very helpful.

The worst Card App. Reprogram this App. The Computer does moves no one would ever make. Picking pack for Aces when I don’t get a turn. Having the game end with Jokers in their hand when we could make Jokers. The list is too long. The Developers are taking our $ and laughing. You will not learn how to play Canasta using this App. I’ve never written a review before. After months of frustration I felt I must. When you play with Friends be careful with your discard. The computer grabs it and puts it on your Board. Now you need 10 more Pts. This can happen again... you’ll need another 10 Pts to Open. My suggestion is to play Solitare. Stay away

This is the second time it crashed in the middle of my game with 3 other players.. so frustrating....logged out, logged in and still not working. They need to figure this out.

I have been using CJ for a long time as its “the only game in town” when not playing in live games.They need to take a look at how many wild card canastas there are per games played...way too many...it really spoils the game when one team starts right out with five wilds. Other problems: people go out putting down just two cards and computer did not stop that, discarded cards often jump onto board as tho you are melding when you’re not, and of course what feels like constant boots....They should also consider adding a choice to not join a game if you prefer not to play wilds anytime...right now it comes up with just the choice of OK....I think you should not be accused of quitting a game if you chose not to join it in the first place. The app has 1 star.....this should tell the folks in charge that they have a great idea but it seriously needs work.

If you’re very lucky, you can get through a game without yourself or another player getting disconnected from the game. This app needs serious upgrade but nothing gets fixed.

I am grateful this app exists and it is has provided hours of enjoyment during these difficult times. However now that they have so many subscribers they need to use their funds to fix the bugs and connection issues. I understand that they cannot fix all of the disconnect issues as some are due to internet and servers. However when you get disconnected you should be able to seamlessly reconnect 100% of the time. Way too often the game will not find its place correctly upon reconnecting. If this issue was fixed it would be a tremendous improvement. The other most egregious issues are the board recognizing a discard as a meld (no this is not user error as the programmer has said but rather they need to correct the code to make this much harder to happen), the computer should not take the pile for only 6 aces or sevens but only if all 7 are there, the computer should not automatically take 3s as it makes a garbage splash impossible (such an easy fix) and finally it is clear from everyone that for some reason there are way way more wildcard melds in this app than when playing with real cards. It would also be nice to be able to select which want to play with!

Disappointed CJ player

Today’s Daily News said to update by going to the App Store and tapping the cloud or the word update. I don’t see either one , even after I opened the app. The response I received from CJ support was not helpful at all, and rather snippy. I enjoy the app but this week I have encountered many issues. At least 3 times we had to stop playing. Supposedly they are improving the app, fingers crossed.

Playing with the computer is fun but the computer players do not play the game properly. They often don’t meld in spite of having cards to be able to meld. It is like playing on a team where your partner is mostly useless. In addition, apparently there is an update but there is no way to update according to the creators instructions

We love it but it constantly sends games crashing

We play a regular game but always one player has server disconnect while our WiFi is good. We need to close everything and start a new game and lose our previous status, very frustrating as we use one device on messenger to talk and one to play, needs a fix.
