Boy do I love buying a game I’ve already bought!
Fuzzlow

Payed $4 for the game. Enjoyed it until I found out that you had the pay to play the rest of a game that you already payed to play. Would’ve been cool to get my money’s worth...

So. Dang. Slow.

This game could be a ton of fun, but the gameplay requires endless patience. Given how hard it is to time my moves, the checkpoints are way too few and far between. Get shot in a hallway, start waaaaaaay back across the street. Why can’t I throw one of those dang coins to create a diversion? Or pick up a guard’s gun? Or crouch behind some furniture? Or do anything but wait for the guards to come to me one at a time? And all the buttons overlap, so instead of picking a lock, I open a door and get shot by the guard I was hiding from. Instead of starting the elevator, I go downstairs to open a door on the floor below. The controls are really hard. Despite all of this, I keep coming back to the game, because it’s very enthralling. It’s also very aggravating.

This is an excellent game. Kind of a role playing, puzzle solving detective story, placed in a film noir setting. It is challenging, but does not require reflexes that are too quick (good for us old guys). The only suggestion I have is to allow the player to save “on demand”. I got tired of having to start over and lose all progress every time I got killed. Otherwise, I would rate the game at five stars.

Weird menu that just restarts game
SuperShoeDiva

I just started playing and wanted to manipulate the music, see what settings were in the game. So I click on this menu while I am playing the game. It shows three lines and the “Main menu”. And all I can do is return to the beginning of the game and start over. I don’t understand why they are using an icon that shows multiple options but when you click on it it only has one option.

Perfect noir, perfect story, perfect game
The Slad

A game wrapped in nostalgia and noir but which features a great story, and intuitive and captivating game play. One of the coolest iPhone games I’ve played!

Greedy
AquaNature6K

No, I am sorry, but I am not paying 8$ to continue finishing the game. That’s outrageous. I wouldn’t mind paying for a DLC or expansions, but in this case it’s the main game and you have to pay $3.99 for each act. Which is a shame, as the game is actually pretty good from what I have played with stunning graphics. So there

More, please!!!

I’ve now gone through the game twice. Check out the details of the settings. I like having a narrative then a combo of strategy and speed. I keep the sound off. Way too much dialogue, interrupts the flow, but can tap through it. I would pay for more, and I never pay!!!!

Boring and the control is stupid
cfyeudusu

I purchased this game because I thought it would have similar control to “This war of mine” but the control of this game is way less flexible and the screen cannot be moved around the the character. Boring story line and stupid control. The guards are too dumb and not realistic.
