Use it constantly, but failing to automatically sync

This is would be a 4 star app if not for sync issues that have appeared with iOS 9. For about the past 6-8 months I get routine sync failures. A day will go by without sync. Background processing is on. I have to restart Calendars 5 or tell it to sync manually -- then it instantly updates. It's frustrating because manual sync is fine -- there's something broken in the machinery for scheduled/automatic sync. I wonder about an iOS 9 bug Readdle is not working around. I sync far more calendars than most people, so that may be a contributing factor. Otherwise it's great. I'd like better text display of event notes and better handling of locations and I've a few other fixes I'd like to see. Really though, it's quite fine. Except for the sync.

This is by far the best calendar app I have seen. To take it to the next level, use the multiple calendar feature and give each calendar a different color. This app has taken some of the chaos out of my life. I make heavy use of the color coded calendars. It is simple to see what is going on with a quick glance of the calendar.

I only use the Apple app on my home screen to look at the date. All my appointments are done with this awesome app. Easy to add, move, copy my appointments
Great, but color-coding needs work

I wish there was an easier way to change the type of event/calendar so that color-coding is easier. I'd like to easily be able to separate school events/homework from personal events. Also the single-line natural event creation needs work. Google Calendar has mastered this feature.

This app allows me to view my gtasks, iPhone reminders, and Google calendar. Since my work project management program (Redbooth) syncs with Google calendar, everything I need to know is in one place. It's easy to turn other calendars on and off so I can view my department's calendars with mine, then turn them off. I usually use list view - it shows everything and it's easy to distinguish reminders, tasks, calendar, and project management. LOVE THIS APP.

I love this calendar because you can colorcode the events. I travel a lot and I have to see the days I'm traveling. I love also that it connects with my Google calendar so my husband and I can keep each other up to date on events in our calendars. Great!!!!

I love the general idea if this app. That being said I think lacking features like a search option and other small oversights bump it down to 3/5. Still prefer to regular calendar though.

I had been using Fantastical and thought I had arrived. But after comparing side by side with Calendars 5 I switched over. I don't want to slam Fantastical because it does have excellent functionality and a great interface, but Calendars 5 seems to have a bit of an edge with it's clean interface and functionality.
