Use it constantly, but failing to automatically sync – Calendars 5 by Readdle Review

This is would be a 4 star app if not for sync issues that have appeared with iOS 9. For about the past 6-8 months I get routine sync failures. A day will go by without sync. Background processing is on. I have to restart Calendars 5 or tell it to sync manually -- then it instantly updates. It's frustrating because manual sync is fine -- there's something broken in the machinery for scheduled/automatic sync. I wonder about an iOS 9 bug Readdle is not working around. I sync far more calendars than most people, so that may be a contributing factor. Otherwise it's great. I'd like better text display of event notes and better handling of locations and I've a few other fixes I'd like to see. Really though, it's quite fine. Except for the sync.
