It’s comparable with some disadvantages to fantastical 2, but as long as this is a paid-off app over subscription, this is way better than fantastical 3.

Love this app. Only problem I have had is when the clocks change from and to daylight savings time, some of my scheduled/repeated monthly meetings times change. Been late or early a couple of times. Can’t figure out why the calendar does this.

One critical issue - unlike the build it iOS calendar, the watch complication does not update unless you open the calendar on your phone first. So if you are relying on your watch to maintain your schedule, and someone sends you a meeting invite or changes the start time of an existing meeting, you’re not going to see it reflected on the complication. Had to revert back to iOS calendar.

A solid calendar marred by a monthly view not as readable as, for example, Google Calendar or Outlook monthly view: partly it’s the colors, partly the ubiquitous right angles and stronger than needed grid-lines, and specially the need for the current day to be indicated by a circle or oval rather than another rectangle. It’s particularly hard to find the current day in dark mode. (1) Without the excellent and unique weekly iPhone view , the iPad version is no different than the native app; it’s just uglier. (2) The natural language input works poorly. Actually, it has never worked accurately.

I can’t believe the Google Calendar App on iPhone is not synced with Google Tasks. I was about to go nuts but I found Calendar 5. Thank God they nailed it. Thanks. 5/5 stars. Also, they don’t have that annoying subscription thing —you pay once and you’re done. Why on Earth would we subscribe to a calendar?? Awesome product: 5 stars.
