Needs Apple watch integration

Nasa770

From a calendar perspective this app is perfect for me. However the lack of an apple watch app is pushing me away. The watch has been out for several years, can't we at least get a simple watchOS app?

Unacceptable!

Readdle’s failure to fix the locations issue is unacceptable. Readdle, please respond to this review and let people know when this will be fixed. Thank you.

Improve location search

Emmie10

Have been using for many years and works great, except adding address/location to an event doesn’t work well - it doesn’t search contacts on the phone or major business in town. I looked settings on both in the app and in iOS and location permissions is on. An option to change search from Four Square to something else maybe helpful.

View events

Unless I missed how to do this it would be nice to select a day and see all the events for the entire day while in month view.

Works well

I use it for everything.

We need a cal app that integrates with task platforms

darmok

Pros • great interface • advantage over iOS Cal - list view • advantage over iOS Cal - Reminders integration Cons • only integrates with iOS Reminders and Google tasks. I would pay $5 for Trello integration with editable reminders. I don't need to edit tasks in my calendar app, but I do need a link that will open the task within its own app. Before Sunset was destroyed by Microsoft, they were doing integrations with other platforms; like a facebook calendar integration that was best in class. They were was so successful they were able to sell out to Microsoft. Don't sell out, just help people. The task field is crowded. I was initially going to suggest that you guys buy Taskfabric and Readdle-fy their app in combination with yours. That would be the ultimate task and calendar group management system. And you guys could do it technically, but the problem is still marketing in a overcrowded field. Instead, I think you guys could make good money by identifying the most popular task management platforms with development api paths that could be made to integrate with your calendar. There are too many apps that will show me my fixed appointments. There are too many group task management systems. There are no calendar apps that allow me to buy an integration with a task management system other than apple reminder or google tasks; which are too basic for business. You could gauge interest through a gofundme type platform to poll interest in a specific task management platform. As you make money from each integration, you gain the love of organized people. And that can be a great client base to provide an essential service to.

Great app!

I love the app and the way that it views the month. However I really hope in the next update that they allow for users to creat custom colors. This would help organize to user preferences.

Life-saver

I never write reviews, and I’m a very particular person but this app deserves a write-up!! It’s amazing and smart. I’m an old-fashioned pen and paper type of person and this calendar is making it easy for me to go fully digital. I have tried MANY calendar and to do apps and was never satisfied until now. I upgraded to the paid version and it’s total worth it! I love how my outstanding to-dos get brought forward to the next day until I’ve checked them off! I love that I can color code my events and that I can drag and drop them! simply the best calendar and do to app out there!! SO HAPPY!

It’s OK

Given how much I liked PDF Expert, which I have on all of my devices and desktop, and Scanner Pro, I thought I would upgrade to the total Readdle package. Calendar5 works fine, but it really isn’t that much different or better than Apple’s calendar app that is already installed on my iPhone, iPad, and iMac. Since Readdle doesn’t have a desktop version, I am going back to the app that works and looks the same on all my devices.

Could be great

Things just don’t work right sometimes. All day event Google invites keep getting added with an extra day to my calendar. It doesn’t show up like this on other calendars that are syncing with it. There is no option to sync with external task lists. It’s difficult to tell if you can set the time zone of the event. I haven’t been able to. It’s not very traveler friendly .....
