Very difficult, but huge potential

I first played the game on android, and knew that at some point I had to get it on iPhone. As desperately as I wish I could say it was worth it, there’s just not enough to make it so. The game starts off at a high level of difficulty, and continues to ramp up faster than the player can keep up. There aren’t any renewable resource plots, and it takes a dangerous amount of time to get to the farther locations. It lacks the ability to scavenge for core materials from the surroundings, and artificially increases the difficulty even further. Why can the player not find ways to make survival easier rather than insisting on doing things the hard way? Why can I not set an old trash can out and let it fill with rain water to use for the crops? Why can water only come from wood? It doesn’t make any sense. Additionally, the character tears through cabinets and old lockers that have been overlooked; why can’t we scavenge those for wood, metal, and parts? Why can’t we disassemble old furniture for cloth and wood? All in all, the game is super challenging and nice to play when you have nothing better to do, but it lacks features that make games like “Survival” more replayable. The attention it garners from me per session averages at about an hour, but it could be so much more if only there were a few tweaks.

It’s a good game
ghhhhjjhhhhh

It’s a great game but when you die over and over it get a little repetitive

Not worth paying for
Jake (not from State Farm)

You have to buy the game. Then after that, of you want a dog, different people, better skills, you have to pay for it. So even though you ALREADY PAID for the game, you have to pay to play even more. Just go play This War of Mine. This is a knock off for it anyways. At least with them it's not pay to play.

Good game, not perfect
Sheila Larson 2000

Comparable to This War of Mine and N.E.O. Scavenger. This game has a high difficulty level. You may enjoy playing it if you like repetition and strategy. Drawbacks: resources and crafting are very tightly balanced and you’ll die quickly if you don’t manage everything precisely. There is very little online support in English and most reviews only reach the 30-day mark.

Great fun with no WiFi
HockeyFella

Hard to find games like this which work and can kill an hour without needing WiFi or internet connection. I play this on planes a lot. Not perfect but it’s worthwhile strategy without having painful wait times to get things done.

Electrode Pistol Leads to Slow Death
MeegsSchmi

I really enjoy this game, but recently had an experience that spurred me to write this review. Fighting wild zombies, I picked up an Electrode Pistol. I equipped it and continued to my destination. Fighting the next set of enemies, my character did nothing. It was relatively weak enemies, and I had to just let the game sit open as the thin zombies hit me, taking off 1 HP at a time, until I finally died. At least I was only 29 days into this play through - although I had three neighbors with friendship levels of 4.5 or 5 - but it is really frustrating to have my game thrown away because I equipped a special weapon. Not to mention having to just sit and wait to die

Simple but fun
