Fun App for Toddlers!

NewAgeMama

This app is all about shapes and colors and is a great choice for toddlers. The games are all easy, but also educational. After just a few days of using this engaging app, my son had learned almost all his colors, and he is well on his way to learning the shapes too. The cute bugs and robots held his attention and got him to interact in ways other apps didn't. The colorful graphics are wonderful, but the most important thing is that he's actually starting to learn instead of just playing meaningless games.

All around one of the best apps we've used!

This is by far one of the cutest educational apps I have seen. What more could a little one ask for than bugs and robots? The colors are so vivid, they automatically draw a child in. Your child simply chooses a shape to trace. As they trace shapes, they get lightning bugs in a jar. This app is perfect for those kids just learning their shapes or that need help perfecting their technique. Even younger ones that are learning the mechanics of writing can benefit from this app.

Awesome App!

Believe it or not, I play this app with both of my kids. The 4 year old does it by himself and the 20 month old and I play it together. It is helping her with her fine motor skills. I didn't think it would work, but she likes watching it and seeing where her fingers go. The oldest loves shapes and likes collecting the fireflies in the jar as he completes challenges. This is the app that he cooses first. He loves playing his "shape game".

Fun for pre-school users

This app is perfect for any child that is getting ready to learn how to write. You start with shapes. Your child keeps trying until they do it the right way 2 times, then you get to collect your fireflies and move to the next shape. Great learning app for any youngster!

Fun, Educational, & Interactive: Highly Recommend!

Both of my children have a lot of fun with this. The graphics and vibrancy of the colors really grab their attention, unlike other apps that leave something to be desired. My daughter already knows her shapes, but it never hurts to remind her of them. She doesn't always understand the instructions, but her brother likes to help her out—so they spend quality time together, while also learning! It's a win-win. Parent mode is my favorite part because I can see which areas she needs work in. Overall, a great app and one that I highly recommend (one thing I want to mention though is that the music can be kind of annoying, but my daughter likes it, so I just deal with it—Lol!)

Love this

Toddlers can learn how to trace letters and numbers. I also love the fact that I can view their progress so I know where they need extra help. They enjoy getting to collect the fireflies while tracing the letters & numbers which keeps them interested in the app longer. By making it look like a game the kids do not get bored! I highly recommend this app if you are getting started with reading and writing.

Great App!

In this app kids are able to learn and recognize different shapes. Upon successfully tracing a shape, they get fireflies placed in a jar. Along with shape recognition children also develop fine motor control as they trace each shape. In the free version, there aren't bugs or robots, just shapes.

Best one yet.

Out of all the Kids Academy games, this one is my favorite. There is multiple concepts within one simple, yet fun and educational game. You have to learn how to trace the shapes, with the prompt and then do it on your own. While you are doing that, every the you go over a firefly, it goes into your jar on the side of the game. To "win" - I like to use the term loosely, as learning isn't about winning, you have to fill the jar up with the fireflies. It's quite easy. What I really like is that you learn how to draw a variety of shapes. It is a game that I would recommend for anyone with little kids that is starting to learn how to draw shapes. They'll have fun while learning something!

Fun Way to Learn About Shapes

My daughter knows the shapes already but it's important for her to practice and make her drawings more clear. With this app, learning and tracing ten (10) basic shapes becomes a fun activity for her. She loves how the tracing thing works. It's like a connect the dots fireflies. The more you trace, the more fireflies you get. All the fireflies are stored in a jar which really made my daughter excited! Not only that, there's a combination of shapes to trace that makes a robot. So, it's more fun to do! I personally love that it has the Parent Mode where I can check on my daughter's progress (like what shapes she does the most), I can control the sounds, edit her profile and learn more about the developer (like their social media accounts).

super fun

Great fun and a good way to get your young one to learn how to draw and recognize shapes well before they head to preschool or kindergarten. Love all of the vibrant colors and especially the robots face paint. Gives the little ones something extra fun to do after they get bored with the educational aspect of the app.
