Really a first rate game

Flagginwagon

If you have never tried a nethack or roguelike game, this one is the killer app to have! Beautiful ascii graphics, wonderful gameplay.

Great game

Aushishishire

This game is easy to get into really fun, I would like to see more things though I'm not sure if their are merchants but that would be nice, non-violent mobs, harvestable items maybe, combining items or weapons, cooler traps, puzzles, difficulty, more items. I love this game and I'm happy I wasn't skeptical like I normally am

This game...

Sad view

...is real.

Roguelike fans: look no further!

Nim the musician

For anyone who knows what a ASCII based games is, or even for players who are new to the RPG roguelike genre, this is a must have. Excellent game depth, user interface, on-screen tile set translator, on screen touchpad AND touch controls. Easily one of the best roguelikes for IOS!!

Great game! A few tweaks needed though!

D_train_16

I think this has been ported onto iOS very well! A few tweaks to saving the game, and make recordings easier to view (the game crashes if you try to skip too far ahead), and this game will be perfect!

BEST EVER!

Daring-dashwood

I love this game! I'm a beginner in C++ Programming and I've complied and played this game on my PC thousands of times! I am currently building a rogue-like based off this one, I can't believe its on the App Store Thank you guys!!!

Can't play saved game

RetroBlast

This was my favorite iPad game, but in iOS 7 when you open up a saved game, the character movement buttons disappear, making the saved game impossible to play. This didn't happen in iOS 6.

Good port, good roguelike

gamerguy4685

Just get it.

Simply Brilliant

Looooogggfsss

This is an amazing game. You will have to work hard to beat it, but that victory will taste all the sweeter for being earned with blood, sweat and tears. The gameplay on the iPad is simple and intuitive. This is a roguelike pared down to its essence, and but it is so rich that you won't ever think to add more. And it looks great too!

Addictive, and smart.

A nickname that has not been taken

More sophisticated and more intelligent than the typical rogue game. However, it is not as brutal as the typical rogue game. The average game is surprisingly long. I love it. I downloaded this thing and immediately lost the next five hours of my life.
