The logic section where ordering the robots is so buggy the problems cannot be completed. Once dragging a robot cannot place back. And number of slots/spaces reduces or disappears. Very annoying! Will lose 7-day trial before this could be addressed. Very annoyed. Lost interest. Also, why do the little audio effects have to pause whatever I’m listening to in the background? That’s incredibly annoying. These things are a big impediment to being s able to evaluate the efficacy of the content, and are really basic iOS UX/UI best practices. I won’t be subscribing now. I’ll check back in a year.
Very entertaining keeps me from losing focus with the whole way it’s set up.
This is a great way to refresh old topics, fill gaps, and take on brand new subjects. I had for years had some specific holes in my education that I’m finally starting to fill.
I let my son try this to help with math and science. He used the free version for a while, but maxed out the free courses. I decided to go ahead and subscribe when I saw a coupon code for 20% off. I don’t like the forced year subscription, but it seemed valuable to my kid, so I decided to give it a year. Started the free trial and he really liked the content. My other son wanted to try too, so I thought we’d go for a family plan for the three of us- first they won’t honor the coupon for group accounts- frustrating but the price of 3 is less than three individuals at 20% off - fine. Tried to upgrade my purchase to the group subscription, nope, you can’t add users to make the group and if you make the group, you can’t have one of the accounts be an existing premium member- seriously!? You have to cancel the existing account (only an option during the free trial which luckily I still was) but once it’s canceled you can’t purchase the group account until the free trial would have been over. So thankfully they gave me all this time to re-think my purchase, read a few reviews and see that their support is still terrible after paying, content is limited so the value doesn’t last the year and change my mind about giving them my money. I hate to disappoint my kids, but this seems like a terrible company.
Really like what Brilliant is doing and love their interactive content. Sadly the app crashes often and my streak is stuck at 0. Finishing a course also crashes the app.
This app allows me to learn things that were previously really hard, although the membership is extremely expensive.
I would highly recommend anyone trying to expand there knowledge and learn without the hassle of going into buying expensive books, get this app.
The customer service is slow to respond and is not helpful at all. I will not continue my subscription for that reason.
