I enjoy the learning

It is good to me because I lack certain concepts of physics and mathematics, but brilliant has helped me bridge the gap between my understanding.

The latest update has stop keeping track of my stats and limited the access to a lot of content. I have played this app everyday since October of 2018. I found it both educational and entertaining but can’t afford the full app. I’ll still play but am pretty disappointed in the changes.

It’s all there in the title. Just an incredibly well-assembled, beautiful, lucid intro to various STEMmy concepts… but not one the layperson can comfortably afford at $25/month. Khan Academy and other free resources maybe messed up the market, alas. Also sometimes the sliders, interactives, etc., don’t work on a late-model, newish iPhone.

App never works.

Don’t bother paying $150 for this subscription if you don’t have a computer to use. I really enjoy this product, but I am unceasingly frustrated by the fact that the app never works when I go to use it. I can’t download any courses because the app crashes every time I try. And I’ve lost track of all the bugs that plague the apps interface and functionality. I hope they fix it soon.
One of the puzzles is billing

I guess I’m not smart enough to figure out the billing. I am offered a price of 149.00$ annually however, I would prefer monthly billing. It’s a good app and there is so much to learn-and I would really like to use it to further my education. As an educator myself I am always look for ways to advance my pedagogy. I’m happy to pay for this wonderfully designed and curated app, I am just hesitant to advance a rather hefty sum and agree to a year long commitment. It’s probably something I’m just missing. I’ll go back and “read the syllabus.”
App stops playback in other apps

I absolutely all of the learning that I’ve been doing with this app over the last year. However the latest version of the app has used the sound API in such a way that it pauses apple podcasts and Apple Music, so that I essentially can’t put on some music or news in the background and work problems. This wasn’t a problem until the last few weeks. I would rate this app Five stars easy if it wasn’t for this.

This application has help me understand subjects that I am having trouble with school. Things like math used to intimidate me but now I am confident in my ability to solve all kinds of math problems.
