I like this app. I have it on iPhone and iPad and I would like it to sync info between the two.

Basic functionality of this app has been limited as the developer seem swamped with updating and maintaining this app. it's unfortunate that things as basic as sending an email of your recipe are broken

I never buy apps. This is the lone exception. My friends all recommended it so I bit the bullet. So glad that I did. Great for recipe creation, quick calculations, and brew day planning. A few minor bugs related to ingredient addition don't affect the ability of this app. A little more explanation of what some of the options do, particularly with the mash options, would help. Bottom line: well worth the money.

Title says it all. Plus there is no way to manually enter an ingredient. Say I have Wakatu hops but Brew Pal does not...it would be nice if I could manually add the name, item type, alpha acid, etc. In addition, the developer seems to be MIA.

For a measly $2 this app is completely worth it. You can formulate recipes, which give you complete breakdowns (ibus, Gravity, volumes, etc). Not to mention, there are built in timers for each step of the process. You can even send recipes to friends that load up in the app. Many people have complained about the recipes not saving, I haven't had to run into this yet, but you should probably back up your recipes, maybe email them to yourself. I love this app, and my only regret is waiting so long to get it.

Although this app has not been updated in quite a while it is well worth paying for just to have the information about the beer styles. The match style is really great and then the info and history about each style is invaluable. I use it every brew. I'd love if they could add a refractometer alcohol calculation. But for now it works mostly and provides great service for less than the price of a single pint in most bars.

Any chance this app will see the updated style guidelines anytime soon?

The names of my recipes are listed but all the ingredients and everything associated with them are completely gone! I tried deleting the app and then the iCloud sync to no good. Rather upset about all this. This WAS my goto app for home brewing but not any more.
