You shouldn’t have to pay money to get help in breaking your porn addiction. But you don’t need an app either to break your porn addiction. Give the Bible a try and allow it to transform your life and you’ll have a huge distaste for porn and sexual addictions.

I’m really liking Brainbuddy. One thing I don’t like, as a first time user of this app I was exploring all of its features. I think there could be a better way to integrate the social features in the app concerning addiction and recovery. A lot of the language and content in the chat/one-on-one support with the community is very triggering. Some of the comments between people are not appropriate for what this app is trying to accomplish. There are also some really good supportive conversations happening. My preference would be to have the app without the chat features. Instead, create a system where support from the community is available in a screened and safe atmosphere. I know this is a tough request but I think it’s also a possibility. Hmm? How? Keep it safe, should be your number one priority. Otherwise the app is really, really helpful. Good job!

App leads you through account set up then smacks you in the face with a subscription charge. Once you agree to this it’s very hard to cancel- you have to go into your phone’s settings instead of the app providing you a way to do so. Only after some digging do you see anything about the subscription being optional. Way to kick a man while he’s down.

Hi! I recently downloaded this app out of curiosity because it appeared on my suggested page. I have had no issue with porn in the past (I don’t even watch porn). I took the initial assignment and to my surprise I was mildly addicted to porn (42%)!!!! My dopamine levels were 68% (this number appears a lot) above the average! Curious to see the reliability of this initial test I took it about 20 more times each with different answers to see what I got! Sometimes I was a 12 year old boy who watched porn every day, other times I was a married 48 year old woman who had never watched porn in her life. Nonetheless I would consistently score over a 40% porn addiction rate and all the while my dopamine levels would still be 68% above average. I would be 40% addicted to porn but have a dopamine base level 68% above average. I would then get a 70% porn addiction average but still would be 68% over the baseline dopamine level oh no!! (Before I took the test every time I cleared all my cloud data on it). So after I was done taking the test I though that it wasn’t too bad if the test was fake because it’s not like people have to pay for this... right? Well after reading all of the feel good inspirational quotes I was slapped with a 12.00/month fee!!! Conclusion: Based on my experience with this app I am pretty confident that they are taking advantage of people’s fear of porn addiction. You hear so much crap about porn making men less manly, or if you watch porn you are weak ect on the internet or tv and all this app is doing is taking advantage of this wave of shame people are feeling towards themselves. DO NOT FEEL BAD ABOUT YOUR SEXUAL PREFERENCES if you watch porn every day good for you if it works for you. But if you feel like you need help don’t waste your money on this BS go talk to someone who’s only concern is taking your money.

The app itself is cool, however, there is no ”free trial” you can't cancel it. You have to pay $13 after the 7 days. I don't like that personally
