This app costs a monthly subscription that’s more than your average streaming bill so you might expect a very feature rich app but it’s pretty basic. I’ve had this app once before (maybe 2 or 3 years) and it doesn’t seem like much has been updated. When you go to the main message board, it has the same exact threads at the top as when I downloaded it a few months ago. It has been good for keeping me honest but I don’t know if I’m being drawn back to the app enough to prevent relapse. I wish it was a more active and dynamic app.

Why pay for a rehab app

I was gonna use this because I realized I have a problem and it has affected me and others around me so I got this to try and change my life, but I also don’t have the money to be spending on monthly app purchases. Rehabilitation is meant to help you become the better you and shouldn’t be something you have to pay for.
Awesome for the first month

This app is an excellent way to kick off an abstinence spree. It provides a combination of tools that help you “require” and give you a sense of accountability. This really helped me my first 30 days. Unfortunately, the material became repetitive and kind of just started repeating itself. I unsubscribed after a month because I felt as though the daily reflections were now cycling back through form day 1. Overall, I would still recommend!

I usually don’t write reviews for apps but I’ve found this one helpful. However, I still didn’t plan on writing a review until something per unfortunate happened. The app assigns you random teams at first and then you have the option of changing later, to serve as an anonymous support group. Anyway I started getting to know my group members and it was a pretty solid team. Then yesterday I noticed I had a lot of messages from the group which surprised me, and today I checked it to see what was up but to my surprise I was put in a new team. I’m not sure if there’s a system that automatically puts you in a new team every so often or if I must’ve requested a new team a long time ago (it couldn’t have been recent because I had been talking to my team for a while) and I finally got in a new team. Whatever the reason I’m pretty upset and unfortunately do not remember the name of my team so I cannot rejoin. If the developers could somehow place me back in my old team and fix whatever confusion created this mishap, that would be greatly appreciated. If it’s some sort of auto-team renew I’d like to see that removed. And if it was from an old team swap request, there should be a final confirmation notification asking if you’d still like to join the new team. Otherwise, I’m clueless as to how I got placed into a new team (and so were a couple others in the group which makes me think we somehow got selected to form a new team). Also, there should be a notification in the group messages whenever someone new joins/leaves, as well as a team search. Please fix this and I’d appreciate it if I could be placed back in my latest team, thank you. Otherwise I’d give this app a solid 4.5/5.
