Please get with several contractors to resolve the plethora of problems with your app. The amount of money your company will loose because you have not invested in your app:(
App has potential, but not there yet...
Two "oh's" in goose
This app is good for basic measurements, but if you plan to use it in any way for ‘As-Built’ drawings try something else. When you measure a wall it will not snap to a scalable length on the drawing. However, it just gives you a measurement in brackets and a pop up that tells you the scale is incorrect. If you plan on laying out a room or building, the laser measure tool is great, but you’re better off writing those measurements down and putting them in AutoCad for a drawing. One great feature of this app is the availability to take pictures and place measurements overlaid on them. This is invaluable for sending details to suppliers and subcontractors. I give the app 2 stars because it is somewhat useful in its layout functions, but there are a lot of problems with how it calculates and scales wall lengths. In the meantime try something else until Bosch figures out what’s wrong with the app.

This app makes little sense in regards to drawing a floor plan. The total lack of instruction are understandable since the app is useless. Dims on both sides of a wall? Apparently no connection between the laser and the app, the videos on you tube are stupid, they are just enough to get you to buy the laser. All I wanted is a quick and simple app. so I could document existing structure. As another reviewer said, paper and pencil are faster. Going to give the laser a low rating since the app. was the reason I chose this model. Maybe I return it and buy a Stanley.
The App is ok but can be better then any other with tuning

This is a ok App for ppl to use but u can add doors or windows the how the layout needs work as well but hopefully they fix it up a little and i can give it 4 maybe 5 stars next time

This is, as others have written, an app with great promise. Right now (v1.2.5), it is maddeningly incomplete. For starters, there is no documentation for it. A meager handful of extremely basic how-to videos were all I could find, and they are an insufficient solution for the confusing user interface. One can quickly sketch out a space and add measurements, but the sketch will not adjust to reflect the added measurements. There are gui buttons (the “measured value”) that don’t seem to have an actual function. And, if there is a simple way to adopt a “quick sketch” into a detailed plan, the means for doing so seems either a hidden feature, or something one will have to do by manually transferring recorded measurements. Why?? I could be working just as quickly by sketching with pencil and paper. Not ready yet.
This app is useless. Do not use it.

I am a contractor and I found this app useless. Walls do not scale properly, it doesn’t allow for curved walls, when you manually type in 8’ it shows up as 7’12”, you can’t add doors and windows ..... If your drawing gets too close the edge perimeters of the app, it doesn’t allow you to move the entire drawing around to fit the screen. I could go on and on but that wouldn’t help. With three emails to Bosch and three emails to the author not helping with the issues I give up. Great idea but very poorly executed. Shame on you Bosch for false advertising.

Excellent app. I would give 5 stars if it had iCloud support where you can share between devices, export and import features and an option to input projected construction cost.

Great promise, but the walls don’t resize to match laser or manual input dimensions. Tried on an Android and iPad. Without resizing you can’t do a floor plan which makes the Bluetooth on the 50c kind of pointless. Uninstalling the app. Returning the laser. Will check for updates in a while. Would love to see them get this working.

Very disappointed in this program I am using the new iPad 11” Pro model with an Apple Pencil Data input of dimensions is pathetic. The decimal point on the pop up key pad doesn’t work You can’t enter feet, inches and fractions of an inch as the input is only in feet with a decimal So far I have not found any help screens to assist with learning the app I guess if you were doing metric plans it would be good Shame as I had high hopes for this application and the laser measuring device
