I love this app! The only reason I’m giving it a 4 star is because I wish you could listen to a speed faster than 2x, maybe 2.25x even 2.5x. Some audiobooks are slow, even at 2x.

I’ve been looking for an App that does what this app does for years. It’s great for importing an audiobook in MP3 format, and makes it playable, AND keeps your place on iphone. It also pulls book jackets, and has a driving mode. It’s like Plex for audiobooks. My only gripe is the interface is dated, and not optimized for iPhone X. I paid the $4 in-app purchase in hopes the developer majorly updates the interface and design. Functionality wise, it’s solid.
Not perfect but a nice compromise.

Since iBooks, when playing audiobooks is glitchy, on “my” iPhone, and I could not find support for the problem, I turned to the audible app, the Audible app will only save book marks with books purchased through the app. No good!! Found this app, it’s customizable, book marks work, skip is customizable, although for some reason, I can’t get the playback speed adjustment to work. Which isn’t a huge problem for me. Overall the price of $4, compared to endlessly skipping around in iBooks, trying to find where you left off, is worth it, without being tied into a $14.95 p/m subscription to Audible.

There are two minor features I would love and would make this a 5star app. On the bookshelf screen, show the length of the book, calculated by the playback speed. Let us set a default playback speed.

I find this to be an excellent app for listening to audiobooks. Bookmarking is important to me. I have no trouble with this app picking up where I left off listening. In addition, Duke has always been very prompt responding to any Bookmobile question I have. Also very patient with stupid questions! My sense is that he is not a developer who puts something out there and then forgets about it and never touches it again. He provides updates and tweaks very periodically. This is one app I have never been sorry I spent money on.

I am stunned by this application. It allows you to download or import audiobooks from more sources than you could think of. Its what I was specifically looking for to play my audio books. I absolutely love the feature in which you can upload a book through your browser from your computer. The free app lets you experience everything perfectly before you pay which is well worth it.
need bookmark importing/exporting

It would be really great if there's a shortcut to add specified bookmark while playing. For now, bookmarks importing and exporting is seriously needed. Please! I've bought this app after trying at least 10 players.

Perfect audiobook manager in every way except that it isn’t properly formatted for iPhone X and max screens. I wouldn’t change anything else at all.
