I have been using this scanner for years, and have always been impressed. I work on a lot of vehicles, and this has helped me on many occasions. The free updates, and new features are awesome!

Good tool, could use a few tweaks

For the price of the app, free it’s pretty awesome, However it’s missing some key features that would make it the best app of its kind, I scanned my wife’s 2012 Traverse yesterday for a MIL and misfire, code was P0300 as a common generic code that will set with a failed ignition coil, common on these cars. But when I went looking for a misfire counter I couldn’t find one, I ended up using another scan tool I have to identify the failing coil, My suggestion add misfire counters, fuel injector readings and cam position actuators to the app.

I use it before taking my auto in for maintenance, this way I can tell if they’re trying to rip me off, caught the mechanics twice trying to hustle unneeded work.

I'm no mechanic at All, but this app by far helps me learn about problems with my vehicle and how to fix them. Definitely worth buying a blue driver scan tool for $100 over pretty much anything else. My only suggestion is to maybe add youtube video links on how to fix the problem . Maybe that's asking too much or maybe it's because every car is different , but that would be helpful . They include the most common fix for issues so adding a youtube link to that fix would be great , but then again I'm happy with the app and suggestions as is

I purchased this device so I can read codes on my car and see if I can make it last longer. I then realized how powerful this really is. I fixed three airbag codes and diagnosed another misfiring cylinder. I will never buy a car without using this tool on it
