Replaced camshaft gasket and then failed to start. Bought this and ran diagnostics and said it was camshaft position sensor. Replaced and now starts and runs great!

In Boston, MA, the car companies are deliberately scaring people. They want the EXCLUSIVE RIGHT to diagnose & repair your car by doing away with the OSBII port that allows yourself or an independent shop to work on your car. The car companies falsely claim if independent or car owners have access to car software Rapists can use that information to stalk victims. Nonsence!!! Watch yer Ask, MA!!! Of all the scanners on the market, BluDriver is the best. For $100.00, you get the power of a two year old $3,000 pro scanner. If you plan to buy a used car, plug this in as you do the test drive and watch all the blood drain out of your Lot Lizard’s face!!! That’s what I did and God, it was priceless!!! I swear by my BLUDRIVER!!! NEGATIVES: It’s difficult to sync with your iphone which is no big—-call their #800 number for support. Second, it has NO PASSWORD ENCRYPTION which may be a deal killer for some. Again, no big. Keep it in a drawer or tool box until needed. My car is 7 years old with no self driving features so I leave it hooked up all the time, Read the Reviews—-it betters FIXD and the other Chinese Clones. Remember: it’s the Data Base that you are paying for!!! You need this sensor!!! The Average US car is 12yrs old with 14k miles per year. With the COVID-19 crisis, people are expected to keep their cars out to 16years old!!!

I’ve been using this for years and it is awesome! The Functions available and display customization options are better than some others costing hundreds of dollars. You can find all the tools you need to analyze your issues before you get your hands dirty! Saving you time and money by using analysis tools to narrow down your problems and even eliminating those that most would think are obvious. And...it is wireless...and so small, it fits in your pocket. Needless to say, I love this and a vital tool in my toolbox. 10 stars!

For the money you can’t beat the BlueDriver code reader. It offers the most in-depth code reader I’ve ever come across. Two features I found useful are the freeze frame function and the report showing how common the code is for your vehicle and shows the most common repairs for that code. If you’re having malfunctions that throw codes these two features really help get to the correct diagnosis quickly.

An amazing little device. Never fails. Instills peace of mind on the road. I was able to uncover a non-fatal issue in my vehicle, that due to its recurring nature (with details stored in the app), attracted the attention of the manufacturer after the dealer and I analyzed the output. Now the manufacturer is working on a program update for vehicles that might share the same issue. Way to go Blue Driver and everyone involved in the solution!

I wish I would’ve had this tool available to me when I was working full-time would’ve made my life a lot simpler diagnosing fairly simple repair jobs would highly recommend this for anybody trying to figure out their problems with their vehicles
