I Love It But It Doesn’t Always Work

Today I need to post a reminder about testing. The app will not allow me to post when I click the plus sign to add a post. It just shows the same screen but it is lighter in color. Please help!

This app could be good in theory but is just garbage in terms of performance. I constantly see loading spinners, I wonder if the developers know how to use basic caching and prefectch for images. It’s hit or miss if I am to get notifications on this thing, half the time they don’t show up. The fact that this app has 5 star reviews makes me realize that this market is either insanely easy to satiate, and any random developer can vastly improve on this app and drink Bloomz’ milkshake, or bloomz will get its act together. Hoping for the later but have very low expectations.
Great idea but glitchy

I love the concept of Bloomz. It’s great to share the calendars, photos, events, and general posts. But the number of glitches is often and therefore rather annoying.
Naming private messages!!!!!

Wish I could name private messages I have to message parents every night so I put the parents together but can’t see what parents I’m messaging of the child I need. If I could name the private messages it would make it a lot easier for me at night and faster. Not having to click on my messages and who the parents are
What’s the use of the recent update?

App was great until the update 2 days ago. For some reason It signed me out. I’ve been trying to log in and every time I try to sign in the app keeps on crashing! There’s also a new post from my kid’s teacher from Friday’s and I can’t even open this thing ??

So much better than paper handouts. You can respond instantly, to teacher questions. I especially love the requests function; that allows you to know how many chaperones, snacks, or supplies are still needed. The direct messaging to the teacher is very convenient.

I switched from Remind to Bloomz this year hoping that I could be more efficient in communicating with parents. I love all the functions the app provides, however; the app has downfalls. When I have created sign ups and then went back to change the details...I found out it never saved the changes. I’ve all tried to change/update a document that I have uploaded to find that that never changed. I’m also finding, as well as some of my parents, that the app is slow to relay messages and you don’t always get them right away. Please fix these problems.

I just started using Bloomz, in the middle of the school year. I increased parent connection to class announcements from 3 parents, on my old website, to 25 parents on Bloomz. I love how I can message parents in a less intimidating way, that is more like a text message than a formal email. I love that I can see who has viewed my updates, and parents can interact with it through comments and likes. I also love that families, who don’t speak or read English, can have my updates auto-translated into any language. Then, parents can write to me in the language that they are comfortable with, and I can read it in English. The down side is when I use the app, verses the online platform, I find there is a lag in posting, and items take very long to load. This is especially frustrating when I am accepting and welcoming parents. After I accept a parent on the app, it doesn’t update and shows I still need to approve. It makes it unclear to me if a parent is welcomed, and causes me to worry that it looks as though I am ignoring some parents.
