Good app on the surface, but too many times where part of it - the part you need at that time - won’t work.
Horrible features, or lack thereof

Won’t send any kind of notifications at all. Won’t even pop up with them. I have no idea if there are new posts, messages etc and I’m not going to just check it every day just to see if there’s something there. I already have enough apps I’m on, don’t need another one.

The app has been easy to use and I’ve appreciated the timely fashion in which I receive messages from my child’s teachers.
This app actually hinders communication!

The above statement may sound perverse, but it actually puts up a barrier between direct communication between other parents. While I like being able to communicate with the teacher - who I generally wouldn't just text directly - there's no reason there has to be so many steps between you and another parent. Because of this app, parents don't get each other's information, and school directories are becoming obsolete. With the ability to email and text directly, there is no need for this app. If you want to create a real community in your school, you have to have some level of trust. This app works against that, and fosters disconnection and distrust. Plus, it's so clunky and unreliable! I frequently miss group messages, and so do other teachers. School leaders - don't believe the hype!! This app complicates communication, rather than facilitates it.
Has everything I want, but still glitchy

I’m impressed with the options in this app. I’ve been using Class Dojo for years, but I love the ability to schedule conferences and volunteers easily. I also LOVE the easy translation since my school has a very large ELL population. I’ve been testing Bloomz to see what I think for next year, but I’ve noticed a large amount of freezes. I know it’s a new app so I’m hoping they’ll clean it up by August.

I love that I can use this with my student’s parents, but I don’t get notifications at times when they message me. Sometimes they message me important things about making changes to how their child will get home. There needs to be an update to fix the notifications or allow an option to get messages sent as text messages.
Solid app with TONS of potential!

While I absolutely love the premise of this app and what it is able to accomplish thus far, I still can’t help but feel that there is much that can be done to the app that would make it even more amazing and special. Lots of potential that I hope is tapped into!
Fast and awesome way to interact with teachers and parents

This app made it simple and straightforward to interact with parents and teachers for my daughter. Better than phone calls and emails. Highly recommended.
