Tested app by visiting websites designed to test ad blocker apps - app did not pass. This app did not effectively block ads.

Blocks almost all intrusive advertisments and popups for free. some however slip through the cracks. 4/5 would recommend.

So far, so good. Pages are downloading quicker and to my knowledge no ads are getting through. Pretty simple directions.

Blockbear is much improved than before but it still doesn’t block 100% of the ads that it’s supposed to take care of. I still use the app because it’s protection from all types of malware and other viruses. It’s a good app that can be better.

Although there were free ad blockers in the App Store I chose to purchase BlockBear because TunnelBear is a trustworthy and reliable company. Great app!

This app hits a balance that not enough do. It gives you just enough options, while staying very simple. I similarly liked Firefox Focus too, but noticed that it would sometimes leave empty boxes where ads were blocked, and didn't allow any whitelisting, at least not from Safari. Blockbear covers both of these things! I just wish they had it for Mac Safari too, I'll try out Nope for that.

I did all the right things and it doesn’t block anything. Installed, turned on, settings, safari, done, closed everything, rebooted. Still All ads ?

I’ve noticed performance has changed over use with this app. At first it did a great job of blocking ads. Especially really annoying pop up ads. Now it’s almost as if I don’t even have the app installed. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Verified Safari settings shows it’s enabled. I’m still getting ads. Not sure why it went from great to bad?

Doesn’t block everything but it does block a lot. I’m glad there is a good free program out there because the pop ups that redirect you to another page are everywhere. I’m glad I haven’t seen “congratulations you’ve won a $500 amazon gift card!” Since installing this.
