Works a lot of the time, but in the past year, I’ve noticed more and more ads despite having BlockBear installed. I’m left wondering if BlockBear is still working on blocking ads, or if they’re just letting this app decay in usefulness over time.
Unable to activate

I was so excited to download BlockBear and remove all those pesky ads from my life, but alas, once I had downloaded it and activated it, I found I was unable to enable it in my safari settings. I hope that this is simply a temporary problem, and that the Bear will soon be back in action devouring ads.

I’m Loving using Block Bear so far. It was easy to set up and makes browsing in Safari so much cleaner. My only complaint it is does occasionally make some legitimate content render weirdly.

I really want to use this but if I leave it “On” I can’t go to any website. It won’t load & it just says “Contents blocked by a content blocker “BlockBear”. I’m like “yeah, good!” But the website won’t open. I tried many different websites & I can’t go anywhere. Please help!!

It has always worked well for me however after iOS 12 it is now blocking things that shouldn’t be blocked. For example on bestbuy website it blocks any searches or product lists.

I have tried this it won’t connect to the internet so I have to uninstall it in order to get connect to the WiFi. This app might have a spyware on it so don’t get it!!

BlockBear has been my godsend. App discovery on iOS is a disaster so once I found BlockBear I was so relieved to stop searching. It is no frills, does what I want, and comes with more cute bears to invade my phone. I am not a TunnelBear customer (another product by this developer) but that may be my next purchase given the good experience I have had with this. Thanks my dudes
