Ads don't really bother me all that much because i never buy anything presented by them anyway, but i notice absolutely no difference between the ad numbers when this app is active than when it is not other than they seem to show up on the pages a little later than they used to. I'd rate it a U for useless.

With Adguard so I'm not sure which one is working haha, but it seems to work. Just make sure to turn it on in the app, which was my mistake. I turned this app on in Safari Content Blockers, but didn't even open the BlockBear app itself for a long time. Once you get rid of the sheep you should know it's working. Appears to do what it should.

Blockbear does block ads. Too agressively if you ask me. most of the time, pages seem like they're going to load but never do, all i get are white pages. Understandable, the rules this app utilizes are faulty. As such, I've moved on to 1blocker.

This app makes a world of difference on every website I visit. It effectively blocks all ads - from the obnoxious blinking ones, to the obtrusive photo ads placed in the middle of a paragraph. At the same time, it's not as overbearing (haha) as some other ad blocker apps I've tried -- eg, it doesn't block out important info relative the website.* This app pulls off the impossible feat of being efficient, streamlined, and professional - as well as fun, friendly, and very easy to use. Thank you to the genius developers! *With my previous adblock app, i found myself whitelisting nearly every site i visited bc so many essentials were blocked along with the ads. Last count I had 123 whitelisted sites! I finally gave up and headed back to the app store - where I found Block Bear.
