Too many fake accounts

I’ve actually met a couple real people on this app so I can’t not say that’s this is entirely a waste of time and money, but 95% of the people I match with on here is either a scam account or they just don’t reply. I get at least 3 matches per day and I barely get genuine conversations. I also think that a video call option should be added to verify people’s identity before you give out your personal information such as phone number or socials

I moved to a new city, heard about this app and downloaded it. I modeled my profile after the friends who had shown me the app. My account was deleted after about two weeks. I reached out to customer service and was told they needed to contact higher ups. The higher up responded saying she couldn’t provide additional info., that I violated the ToS, but she could neither tell me what I violated nor provide any details about my own account due to their privacy practices (practices, not policy). She asked me to figure out my refund with Apple. Quite sad. The friends who showed me the app still have their profiles active with similar pictures and profile contents to mine. Needlessly difficult and opaque.

There aren’t a lot of features even for a paid subscription. They let you put in preferences but not sure it really does anything. You can’t sort through the people who like you at all you just have to go 1 by 1. It allows you to say I’m a woman/man looking for woman/man/anyone regardless of what you pick someone looking for anyone can like your profile.. Honestly want my money back it was a waste

Can y’all fix the location finding part of this app. I said 20 miles away why am i getting people in other cites. Fix it please i shouldnt have to drive 70 miles for a date passing up all these good people before i get to the date.

The best thing I can say about the app is that it confirmed that my photos were the problem and not me just being in a majority white area lol. I do way better on tinder and the other mainstream apps than on here, which was a surprise to me. On to the app itself, the prospects didn’t seem that great to me. I felt lukewarm about the people I did match. Lots of weird people using fake names or just trying to plug their socials
