I noticed the app advertised on IG and then I read the description and decided to give it a try because I only date black men...(I am a Black Woman). However on the app, I came across several Caucasian and Latino men. Are they playing on the app or what? It’s very disappointing to join something I thought was created for us and find it to be misleading. Just joined today currently waiting for my matches...

This app is called BLK but there is plenty of white ppl on here. The selection starts out good & you get a few matches. But at the end of the day the guy only wants to hook up 95% of the time. They use the same stack over & over again even after you’ve swiped left. The longer you are on the more less attractive the selection becomes. If you’re bored give it a try. But skip this app if you’re looking for something serious. I suggest not buying any of the extra stuff. It glitches with the regular stuff so I wouldn’t even try it

I can’t say anything bad about this app , thanks to the developer for making this . I’m a black man into black women so this was much needed better than tinder , I met a someone on it and it was very good connection good vibe the only reason we don’t stay connected because she relocated to a next country but other than that I love everything about the app I will even pay for it , hopefully I can meet my black queen soon

So this in theory is just the dating app I needed it’s for black singles and “modern” like the most popular dating apps missing a few things but it’s okay. My thing biggest problem with this app is I have over 100 plus people that already matched me and don’t believe that paying for a dating app is something that’s a necessity, but I can see that people have swiped on me BUT IM GETTING NO MATCHES. Even if I just swipe on like 20 people in a row, maybe the algorithm is off. Also I wish we could set location preferences because I’m not exactly trying to meet up with someone 90+ miles away.

App is ok, but it should have more filters so you can pin point on those that fit your suit. Filters like: height, smoke, drink, desire kids/ have kids, location, here for dating/serious relationship, etc. It only have how far the person lives from u. should be more specific because there are time where it says 5miles and their in NJ & other times it says 11miles and they’re located in the Bronx (I’m in nyc). FYI a lot of ppl don’t fill in their Bio. So may be make that a requirement, because ppl like me will just swipe left.
