Way better than the last version!

The new version is wonderful when it works. Key words " when it works". I haven't been able to access the app via wifi for around a month now. This needs to be fixed asap or this device will be going back!

They no longer support the old app and will not support the older model cameras with the new app... Bad form gentlemen. I will not be purchasing a newer model from you and I will not be recommending your product anymore.

Although the app should support my camera (DR600GW), it says I need to update my firmware, which I have done (Version 1.004). Blackvue legacy app works fine with my camera, but I have to keep igniring the "upgrade to new Blackvue app" notice everytime I use it. Not sure what to do but to keep trucking along with the old. Camera works really well for what it's worth.
New app can't access camera

Worked great before. Now I can't access my camera because it says firmware out of date. I d/l current and it still doesn't work. My last blackvue

I would like to see two features added that would make the app really useful: 1. Add a button that I could quickly tap to mark a video currently being recorded (time stamp) for later viewing. Otherwise it is cumbersome to find it. Make it easy to tap while I am driving. 2. Enable a feature so that Event videos are automatically queued for cloud upload. Or automatically upload the ones I tap as it is being recorded while I am driving. I have in-car wifi so it should be uploaded by the time I get to my destination. Otherwise I have to sit in the car and saint for the uploads to the cloud or downloads to the phone there. 3. Improve the switching from one wifi to another one of the 3 if the signal is stronger.

I have this and the legacy version on the same phone. Legacy works fine. If I do a normal join to the BlackVue wifi it works for both but assigns a default gateway to the blackvue which of course breaks the data connection in my cell phone. So I assign a manual address with no gateway or DNS and the legacy version works but this new version says it connected to blackvue wifi (which I am). Please fix.

I've tried updating the firmware using the new app about five times, all unsuccessful. You also can't view older videos for whatever reason it says video unable to be reviewed. I reached out to the customer support team and they told me to install the new firmware on SD card drive using a computer. That also has not worked. I cannot view videos., and Only the live feed works. That makes the camera essentially useless.
