I've used this app for quite a while so I finally paid for the upgrade to use the fade, curves, and vignette. The app renders some unique and pleasant results for B/W emulation with a few small caveats... In the next update it would be great to see: - A/B control of "original photo to filtered photo" - a press and hold on the photo within the app would be preferred. - MORE FILM EMULATIONS PLEASE!!! The existing filters are great but they're limited. Would nice to have more options. - Fade works great, but Curves and Vignette in particular need a little attention to be more user friendly and useful. i.e. When using vignette - it's not engaged until you tap on the screen and move it around a little. This makes no sense. In addition the fine controls for vignette are clumsy and make rendering a proper vignette a pain in the butt. Would also like to see a center focus feature to accompany vignette to help illuminate the center of the photo. Lastly, curves is pretty much fine but a "hide feature would be great so that the results of your adjustments could be more easily seen & it would also be nice to have a clear all feature to remove all nodes. - Last request would be to have a feature that allows the easy removal of a vignette or fade with the tap of a button, like clear or something if you change your mind. Awesome app overall just needs a little fine tuning.

Tried this for the first time today, very realistic film-based preset effects. The app saves at full resolution, 24.2mp tested on iPadAir, without difficulty. There are no ads, and a single IAP for the manual controls, which you can try first to see their effect; a very nice set of controls, and well worth the $.99 IAP. Overall, the app produces excellent results, and with high resolution saves, this one is a keeper. Just wish it was Universal, or at least a separate iPad version.

The in-app photo library is extremely annoying, and the photo editing controls are very anemic. At least it has a curves adjustment, but for a black and white specific application it is missing a lot of needed features.

Excellent app. Film simulations are well done and organic. I hope the developers can provide even more film choices and a broader selection of post processing tools(channels, sharpening etc). This would make it even more of a one stop photo editor. That said, it still has become one of my go to apps.

Gorgeous app. Simple and elegant. I'm hoping for more filters and such in future updates. A quick look before and after would the one thing it doesn't seem to have that it could use, perhaps I just missed it.
