I appreciate the various emulations of BW film. But I use many of my apps to edit and save my images to print as well as share. The resolution of a saved image to camera roll is 640x640, which is the lowest resolution of any free or paid app I use. I won't use this until I can save full resolution to camera roll. 5/21- purchased it and image size is good. But it does crash saving TIFF files. And grain would be awesome. It would get 5 stars.

It doesn't do as much as some photo editing apps but what it does, it does well. Manual edits (fade, vignette, & curves - all of which have a different (& easy to use) UI from most apps - require an IAP, but at only $.99 (in the U.S.) it's hardly even pocket change. I hear about the app from Erin Brooks (erinbrooks dot me) and it was an instant search and get (then buy) for me.

Better apps for b&w. Poor resolution for saving. Also, iPad compatible really means, looks like crap on iPad.

Love the app... I don't know why all that crying about.! Must be some people from other developers :-/ 5 stars. If you like BW work, just get it... Price seems like drooped a buck!

App does what it promises. I had NO loss of resolution to my exported images. The filters are amazing! The app has never crashed. I like it. I use it!

Well, I loaded a photo and went right to TRI-X 400, my film of choice a million years ago, and it looked EXACTLY as I thought it should. The presets are great. I happily paid a buck for manual adjustments. I still wanted a bit more control and so did final adjustments in another app, but in short, I'm in love with this app and give a sincere thanks to the developer, who obviously loves old black and white film as much as I do!

When I launch this app, I see a screen that tells me to add pictures but there is no interface to do so. I have swiped, pinched, uninstalled and reinstalled the app but I can't get it to do anything. Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong n

First off let's talk about exported resolution, the people that are saying photos are exported in low resolution are wrong. This app has some incredible black-and-white filters, plus the app itself is well-made. In most cases I think they're black and white filters are better than Vsco.
