Random crashes, losing all the items in my cart, and problems charging my credit card were all present in my use of this app. Ultimately got it all done but fought with the app the entire time.
Good for coupons only. Need to fix their business process!

I tried the express pay. Works good. Scanning is fast. But, they have not fixed their business process in the club. When you check out, they have to re-scan a lot of items again to verify and their app is telling the exit associate which item to verify and that takes time and holds up the line. The associate hates it and tells me not to use it. They would rather just count with a paper receipt which is fast. Return is a nightmare if you used express pay! They don’t know how to return to original form of payment. They are confused without a paper receipt. Same thing if you don’t have a paper receipt for an in-club order and they don’t respect their own app’s order history. They have a long way to go before this app gets adopted by everyone! Not going to use the app other than for coupons!

Tried the order online and pick up in store today. Filled everything out. Got error that my zip did not match my state. Wrong! Tried again. And again. And kept having to re-enter the card info every time I did it. Finally switched from previous address (where my flyer is sent without issues) to new address. Typed in exact same info for new address as old address and it finally accepted it. But - took so long that my pickup time no longer available so had to do later time. Seems to be a glitch in the system. Love BJ’s but not loving the order online site today.

I give a good review minus a star I don’t always get good produce, I appreciate the pickup but what I am looking for them to do better with is the produce, it’s sometimes a bad batch, just act as if this was yours very own groceries

App has a bait and switch feature

The app allows you to order items ahead and pick them up in the store. There is a major bug though in that if you select an item that happens not to be in stock it does not tell you it is not in stock - it adds it to your cart like everything except it changes it from pickup to ship it to you without telling you or being clear that it did it. The issue is that even if it is a $2 item they will then charge you like $10 to ship you the item. If you don’t specifically look for it you end up paying $12 for a $2 item. It is very frustrating and so I now avoid using the app for shopping completely to avoid this bait and switch feature.
