Soooo many bugs and glitches

Ion the five minutes I used this app I had to resign in at least 17 times I won’t be using this app until these errors are fixed

I bought BD with license for 10 other devices. Desktop app sent me here to get iOS app, and BD promptly began charging me for subscription fees. I warrant that’s their plan, hoping you’ll get tired of fighting with them for refund, so they can keep whatever they got until you catch on! My recommendation: Do NOT install it! If you have a license as I do, be aware they’ll have NO desire to refund your fees that should NOT have been charged in the first place! THIS IS FRAUD, FRAUD, FRAUD!!!! *** UPDATE April 12, 2019 Although I contacted Apple within terms of user agreement, they now say I’m “not eligible” for a refund, and threw in a couple links to their double talk EULA...And conveniently overlooked their own obligations that agreement also stated. They tell you you “can cancel subscription at any time,” but there’s no way to do that using App Store app or web page, since it only shows how much they think they are going to screw you out of, WITH NO LINK OR OPTIONS TO CANCEL, other than another link to the EULA. I sent them a reply to their email outlining the circumstances and again demanding both cancellation and refund, but as of today it still shows active in my profile. I would like to hear from anyone else getting this runaround (for this or other apps), and I will share my opinions of alternatives available to us, the users. I truly hope they try to muffle this report, or otherwise “sanction” me, since they’ll be digging a deep well for themselves when enough of us get together in class action!!! *** April 15, 2019 This case was escalated to John, a senior officer of App Store customer care section, and I received notice they were reversing their previous decision and now issuing a refund. I am likewise updating my review, as I want it to be a fair and honest reflection of entire transaction. I had removed the app as I initially reported, and during the hours it was on my device, I had switched off all VPN functions, if not immediately upon install. Ergo, I don’t see anything lost by the publisher from services aspect. I continue to find a substantial disappointment in this case occurring as I reported in the first place, that initial response of “Too bad for you, huh?” I received, plus all the time involved for all concerned just to make this case right. I probably wouldn’t kick if it was one message and a couple replies to solve this problem, but the way it all went with all facts considered is wrong in my opinion. I am not now nor was I anywhere along the road looking for “something for nothing,” as I previously stated. All I wanted was reconciliation for how I got this app in the first place, as it’s obvious I wasn’t like for a new product when following links from the desktop app that was already paid for. As it stands, I am now going to consider this matter closed (unless their charges suddenly reappear) and move on. I do hope both App Store and BitDefender will profit from their experience of this exercise, and fix the obvious hazards that made this lengthy review necessary!!!!

Good app but lack of security feature

Overall it is a good app. But it should add security feature when launching it own, such as Touch ID/pin/Face ID

The app allows you to monitor detailed traffic info by hour in all your connected devices. It blocks websites with malware and give notification when an unknown device (with IP address) connect with the option to remove/block it. It is even better when paired with Bitdefender Mobile Security app which comes with unlimited encrypted traffic (VPN) and Anti-theft feature!!!

Can Log Back in Now - [v2.42]

Just updating my review as a follow-up to being unable to log into the App earlier today after updating to v2.42. No further issues and working top notch as far as I can tell.

Fantastic App to use with Box 2

This app should only be downloaded if you’ve purchased and are configuring Bitdefender’s Box 2 (see PC magazine and TechRadar for reviews). Not only are the instructions and workflow easy to follow, but more importantly, the 24/7 support is the best service included with Box 2. Seriously, if you have any questions or need trouble shooting contact the support number found in the app and request for Chris. I stand by Bitdefender. They got your back!

Please Fix App/Box 2!

Not sure if the issue is Bitdefender Central App or BOX 2. But lately, the app is displaying inconsistent traffic protection. It worked for a bit yesterday, then it stopped again. I have a couple devices connected to the Box, but current protected traffic states 0KB. Also, unknown device connected to the Box twice. I had to remove it through this app. UPDATE: The app's protected traffic display is finally showing up but according to Tech Support it might take a while for this functionality to become stable and that they are working to permanently fix it. The issue is apparently a known visual bug to be addressed in their future firmware update.

Yes, it was "free", the hour of aggravation was worse than painful. I appreciate confirming my account but geez at least 3X in different places was excessive. Then I didn't get what I need. I only use the web once a month at the most so VPN doesn't help me & didn't work.

Bitdefender is the best you can install in your electronic devices.

Been using bitdefender for years, and have been given notifications on preventing me from clicking on the wrong link, or processing into the wrong pages. Recently Bitdefender blocked a malware that would of freeze my laptop and stolen my photos and information. This was the same link I later found out that a not so lucky friend got into using another antivirus. Thank you Bitdefender for providing years of protection in my technology online life and for saving me from that malware headache.
