Has potential, but currently aggravating

adazzle.dim

The app has never frozen when I’ve been taking photos (as some others have experienced), but it for no apparent reason routinely loses a few photos per photo session. This means that I have to regularly check the photos in the app to make sure that none failed to save, before continuing on. It wastes a lot of time and battery power, and consequently I am rarely am able to capture as many photos as I should be able to in the time I have. Also, the app for no reason will frequently rotate my photos 90° or 180°, and the only way I can fix them is after the fact (it would be ideal if I could fix them before hitting the green “use” button in the camera portion of the app). The photos that have been rotated after the fact then have a squashed look. Very irritating. Also, I always request 14 days to transcribe my own photos, but my records are hardly ever held for me for even a few hours. Consequently, many of my photos have been poorly transcribed.

App concept is awesome But it keeps crashing

Emmy517

I really like this app because it’s been helpful in my genealogy research but every time I go to login so I could contribute photos it crashes. Update: I'm downgrading this to a 2 due to the unhelpful passive aggressive tone of the app developer. 1. Just because you never had an issue doesn't necessarily mean there's an issue on my end. You are one user unlike the multiple people on here that have the same problem I do. 2. You're suggestion to log out and log back in is pointless because as I said before it crashes when I attempt to log in. It crashes every single time. 3. Of course I'm updating the app when updates happen.

Creating an account...

CEMartin64

...is apparently too complicated a task for this application to accomplish. When a user clicks on create account, The app instructs the user to enter an email address and password. The problem is it wants the user to enter this information into the login fields. However, after the user clicks submit, The app then informs the user no account exists for the email entered. So I simply ask, “What is the point of having a create account link?”

Could not create an account

MarcPage

I'm trying to create an account with billion graves. If I use Facebook the app will crash and I have to uninstall and reinstall to prevent it from crashing. If I try to manually create an account, or tells me to verify my password but gives me no way to do it

Amazing app!

Lots of fun, uh huh

I have used the BillionGraves app to take more than 25,000 photos. It is awesome! The app is so easy to use. One click not only takes a photo of the gravestone, but also automatically records its GPS location. When you are done the photos upload to the database straight from your phone (no need to link to a computer.) Families and genealogists can then view the gravestone data for free on the BillionGraves website. I highly recommend it!

Can’t Register

Rwalker17

I enter my email and password, then click create account and it says to confirm password. The search feature also seems very glitchy.

Magic

I can find graves on this site when they were lost to everyone.

Bug

Ddaddy74

I downloaded the app, and when I open it on my iPhone X it goes to the main screen and then closes the app. So I’ve never gotten to use it. Please fix so I can use and give great review

Great for service projects

Mar mom

My husband and I served a mission in Alabama. We had a great time cleaning up old cemeteries and getting them uploaded to be put on the site for people to see. It was a uniting experiance. Thank you BILLION GRAVES❤️
