Good app for reading the Bible

This is a AMAZING app for reading the Bible!!

I love everything about this app. No bugs. The only 'do better' that I can think of is that it's not super easy to get to the next daily reading plan. Esp if you get behind. It'd be nice if it was the first thing that popped up as soon as you logged in if you are on a reading plan. Also, the daily texts of scripture option is a great idea. I REALLY wished that it was the actual scripture as opposed to the book and verse number. A lot of times I'm not able to go and look it up when I get the text and forget to do it later so I completely miss the purpose. Love this app for Bible study. Best one I've found! Can y'all make a fun game for memorizing verses for adults? Thank you!

I have used the Bible.com and Encarta apps. They are both excellent, but Olive tree is the best of the group. I love the ability to have references sync to the scripture narrative in parallel, like Encarta. However, I am amazed at the number of reference materials that are available in this app. In addition, I am astounded at the amount of coding that has been invested in the app allowing extensive use of hyperlinking within the materials. My hat is off to those working the design and back end management of this app. It is true the app requires getting used to and is not intuitive on the surface, but it’s ability to drill down into the Word is worth the initial experience. I suggest the “how to instructions and videos” be presented more prominently to new users. Or perhaps I missed them in my early days. This app has no equal.

I really am enjoying this bible.It has everything that I need.One suggestion could you offer the New Living Translation and the Amplified bible in audio?Also would like to have My Utmost for His Highest devotional.And The Pilgrims Progress dramatized.

Zodhiates word study bibles

I have been using this resource for 15 years. When I starting traveling more, I added the Bibles to my phone. When I changed phone formats, I lost the downloads and was never able to recover them in a way that was easy for me. I just lost them. I have just rebought and loaded them. They are worth every dollar! I use them in church and Bible studies. I can check facts and research words immediately without flipping pages and causing disturbances. If someone uses a Greek or Hebrew reference, I can check right away to see if their translations are contextual to the scripture. So often, particularly in Hebrew, there are typically several choices of a word definition. I studied and speak Hebrew, although I'm not an expert. I know that many that use concordances in their study and teachings have no knowledge of the language, and I'm Berean about checking their work. I don't disdain scholarship by any means, though it's a good exercise for me to check their choices. The app from Zodhiates makes it easy. I trust his scholarship and resources from long use. He makes me a better student of the Word.

I can’t just read scripture and leave it there-I have to read it in a few different translations and at least 3 commentaries. I’m looking for agreement & consistencies. I love this app because all my materials are right there in one place. I can go from Bible to Bible on one side of my screen and commentary to commentary on the other. Soooo convenient.

I like the way the app is set up. It’s easy to find my way around. I love the fact I can go right to the cross reference with just a tap! I can choose how much info comes to me. One thing I would like is access to the Amplified Bible. Thanks for all the wonderful work you put into it!
