It used to be easy to use. Today I wanted to change Bible versions and the option is hard to find!! I never did find it.

This app came highly recommended to me from a Bible scholar. You buy books, translations, and other resources through Olive Tree and it puts them all together in an easy-to-use way with the resource center. I like the linked verses in books and notes. For me, hands down my favorite Bible App for reading, listening, and studying. It’s also fantastic for Bible Reading Plans. The longer you have it and the more you purchase within it, the better it gets!

...there’s a Very Annoying Problem. First of all, thank you, Olive Tree, for correcting the problem described in my previous review. However, I now have a new problem – which I wrote about to Olive Tree’s technical support department, but which has remained uncorrected. I have purchased two study Bibles from Olive tree: the New International Version Study Bible, and my favorite, the New Living Translation Study Bible. The commentary for the NIV syncs very well with the Bible text. However, the commentary for the NLT does not; the commentary for the Bible text is always one or two comments ahead and has to be scrolled backwards to make the text and the commentary line up with the Bible text. Please fix this problem, and I will change my star rating to a perfect Five. Previous Review #2 As you can see from my previous review below, I was completely satisfied before someone at headquarters decided to try to improve on perfection. Now I can read only in portrait mode because only iPads can handle landscape mode. Sorry, but my phone has always been able to handle landscape mode, and with better comfort and style. Please restore landscape, and I’ll restore my other two stars. Previous review #1: I use it every day. No complaints. Worth every penny.

The resource guide is useless!

I “loved” this app until you ruined the resource guide. The resource guide was the main reason I chose Olive Tree. I’ve purchased 88 booked (spend hundreds of dollars) from Olive Tree to use in this app and now they’re totally useless in the resource guide. I’ll never spend anymore money on book for a Bible app. This is the second time this has happened. You spend a lot of money, use the app for years and then the developer changes the feature you loved the most. I will. Ever purchase books through an app again. DISAPPOINTED!

Really enjoy the electronic version of using a bible on my phone and devices. No glitches in any of the many products I have downloaded. As a visual learner, I wish I could see a visual picture layouts of the product prior to purchase, providing you visual examples of what you are getting. Maybe a download sample option? If these options are available, then I apologize and will gladly bump up my review to 5 stars. Otherwise, great products!
