Bring back the old app!

I used to LOVE this app when I could get coupons. Now that I have to pay ahead (and pay huge fees for an SUV) I will be deleting it, unfortunately. There are other apps out there that are easier to use when looking for and paying for NYC parking.

If you have an earlier version, you won’t want to upgrade to this one. A big step backwards, most importantly, coupon discounts don’t appear. You have to reserve a spot to see any discount now. Previously, a truly great and useful app. Later: Look at the response to my earlier comments. Two thoughts come to mind: The person who responded does not actually read the comments they respond to. The person who decided to remove coupons does not actually use their app. If you have ever driven in Manhattan, you know what traffic can be like and the need to be flexible where you drive and park. Nobody is going to make two or three parking reservations but previously one could easily request two or three coupons.

Update changes business, ruins app

Best parking used to be an indispensable app, providing full transparency for parking prices in major cities. With this update, it’s just changed into an app to book parking online, similar to spot hero. Obviously the developers now want you to book parking through them and not directly with the garage, there must be more money that was. So now you’re forced to make a prepaid reservation, and have no idea about the rate if you book at the garage directly. I don’t want to make reservations, the whole point of driving into a city is to maintain flexibility. Funny, at least for now, if you use the web version you can still access the old garage into, but I assume that will be gone soon. This is an awful update to what was a unique and useful app. I hope someone else copies what best parking did so successfully in the past.

Very good app. Good support. Always fixes mistakes mine or the parking garage quickly. Like it a lot. Very useful. Good discounts. Makes the trip into NYC a lot easier. Other cities also.

I have to say that using the new. Eat Peking app is pretty easy From start to finish I forgot I had a username already and they sent me a link Instantly to reset password

New app is awful. Don’t update. No way to see rates any more. Can’t click on garage to see details. Doesn’t default to current time. Really awful and virtually unusable.

With the update I now have to book a space in advance— now where doesn’t say that. So when I went to park my car for where I was suppose to pay only $17, I ended up paying $39!!! The garage just charged my card and Best Parking didn’t want to reimburse me for their f*ck up. Worthless app now-
